CULTURE NIGHT SOIRÉE XIV Friday, May 3, 2019 @ 6:30 pm

The Parent-Teacher Organization will be organizing its 14th annual Culture Night Soirée. The past years have been incredibly memorable. Let’s prepare for yet another evening to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our school through food, sharing, and entertainment. Due to the high attendance of this event, we will be holding Culture Night outdoors in our beautiful school yard. We are asking for a $10 donation per adult (P.S.122 children under 12 enter free of charge), payable at the door. Our aim is to have as many of our school’s vast nationalities represented through food and traditional costumes as well as any possible entertainment. The P.T.O. will once again be awarding the most creative table representing a country!

We need YOU. How can YOU help? {1} Sign up to oversee a table for a specific country and be the liaison for other people

contributing foods and items to the tables. {2} Donate any foods pertaining to any of the countries being represented. {3} Provide cultural entertainment. {4} Come and enjoy the evening! Wear clothing and accessories from different countries.

This is a great opportunity to interact with other families and faculty from our school community.

This event requires substantial planning. Should you have any questions, please send us an e-mail at ps122pto@gmail.com. The liaisons will be the ones coordinating and overseeing the tables for the specific countries with other parents. The P.T.O. will provide the necessary chafing dishes and sternos for keeping the food warm, as well as plates and eating utensils.
