language There was one more very important difference. Edison belonged tothe direct-current and Tesla to the alternating-current school of thought. Theelectricians of that day could, and did, become highly emotional over theirdifferences of opinion on this subject. Discussions roused all the fervor of areligious or political debate, and everything unpleasant was associated withthe adherents on the other side of the discussion.

The least unpleasant thought applied to an opponent was that he was of a loworder of mentality. When Tesla enthusiastically described his polyphasesystem and told Edison he believed alternating current was the only practicalkind of current to use in a power-and-lighting system, Edison laughed. Edisonwas using direct current in his system. He told Tesla very bluntly he was notinterested in alternating current; there was no future to it and anyone whodabbled in that field was wasting his time; and besides, it was a deadly currentwhereas direct current was safe. Tesla did not yield any ground in thediscussionnor could he make any progress in his effort to get Edison tolisten to a presentation of his polyphase power system. Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931).DC - Direct Current was just the CRUMBS that fell from the table of theAlmighty's infinite store of witty electrical inventions.

Rockefeller controlled Morgan, and he in turn refused to let Edison embracethe world changing alternating current. The War of the Currents raged foryears with Tesla and George Westinghouse the eventual winners.

Tesla's earthquake machine!!Inventive ideas flowed from the mind of Nikola Tesla like water over Niagara Falls.... Hewas by nature a peace loving man and never envisioned that his inventions would beused for military purposes.One of his inventions was a MECHANICAL oscillator or resonator which could be usedto locate ore or oil deposits far beneath the earth:"This system of TELEGEODYNAMICS, using mechanical vibrations, Tesladeclared, would make it possible to determine the physical constant of theearth, and to locate ore deposits far beneath the surface, This latter prediction

One day while testing his MECHANICAL resonator, he actually caused anEARTHQUAKE in lower Manhattan:

"Quite unmindful what anyone thought about him, Tesla carried on hisvibration and all other experiments. Just what experiment he had in mind onthis particular morning will never be known. He busied himself withpreparations for it while his oscillator on the supporting iron pillar of thestructure kept building up an ever higher frequency of vibrations. He notedthat every now and then some heavy piece of apparatus would vibratesharply, the floor under him would rumble for a second or twothat a windowpane would sing audibly, and other similar transient events would happenallof which was quite familiar to him. These observations told him that hisoscillator was tuning up nicely, and he probably wondered why he had nottried it firmly attached to a solid building support before.

Things were not going so well in the neighborhood, however. Down in PoliceHeadquarters in Mulberry Street the "cops" were quite familiar with strange

sounds and lights coming from the Tesla laboratory. They could hear clearlythe sharp snapping of the lightnings created by his coils. If anything queer washappening in the neighborhood, they knew that Tesla was in back of it insome way or other.

On this particular morning the cops were surprised to feel the buildingrumbling under their feet. Chairs moved across floors with no one near them.

Objects on the officers' desks danced about and the desks themselvesmoved. It must be an earthquake! It grew stronger. Chunks of plaster fell fromthe ceilings. A flood of water ran down one of the stairs from a broken pipe.The windows started to vibrate with a shrill note that grew more intense. Someof the windows shattered.

"That isn't an earthquake," shouted one of the officers, "it's that blankety-blankTesla. Get up there quickly," he called to a squad of men, "and stop him. Useforce if you have to, but stop him. He'll wreck the city."

The officers started on a run for the building around the corner. Pouring intothe streets were many scores of people excitedly leaving nearby tenementand factory buildings, believing an earthquake had caused the smashing ofwindows, breaking of pipes, moving of furniture and the strange vibrations" (O'Neill, Prodigal Genius, pp. 159-160).Tesla also claimed that his OSCILLATOR could knock down any building and even splitthe earth in half:

"So powerful are the effects of the telegeodynamic oscillator", said Tesla inreviewing the subject in the thirties, "that I could go over to the Empire StateBuilding and reduce it to a tangled mass of wreckage in a very short time. Icould accomplish this result with utmost certainty and without any difficultywhatever. I would use a small mechanical vibrating device, an engine so smallyou could slip it in your pocket. I could attach it to any part of the building, startit in operation, allow it twelve or thirteen minutes to come to full resonance.

The building would first respond with gentle tremors, and the vibrations wouldthen become so powerful that the whole structure would go into resonantoscillations of such great amplitude and power that the rivets in the steelbeams would be loosened and sheared. The outer stone coating would bethrown off and then the skeleton steel structure would collapse in all its parts.It would take about 2.5 horsepower to drive the oscillator to produce thiseffect." (O' Neill, Prodigal Genius, p. 165).The principle of operation was like creating stationary waves in water by means of aplunger bobbing up and down at the correct rhythm.

Power was supplied to the primary coil by the local power station. Thesecondary coil was GROUNDED to the earth, producing waves which traveledto the opposite side of the world. The returning waves were dischargedthrough the atmosphere.

HAARP is an acronym for High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program and is runby the Pentagon from Alaska. HAARP is really a SHIELD around the United States toprotect it from a missile attack. A side effect of this macabre machine is the altering ofthe climate and the triggering of tornadoes and hurricanes.Tesla discovered that the earth vibrates or resonates at the very low frequency of 12Hertz.
