The perfect place

Characters:

Anna- a Macedonian girl

Ben- an American boy

Anastasia- an American girl

Alen- a Macedonian boy

Zorica- a Macedonian girl

Sam-an American boy

The story happens in the park. Anna and Zorica are friends who live next-door. Sam,Ben and Anastasia are visitors from the USA and they are meeting the girls in the park. Alen joins them in their conversation when he hears them talking in the park.

Anna: Ех, конечно завршија часовите, колку досаден ден. Овие часовите се лудница, како да ги слушам наставниците кога неможам да разберам што зборуваат, а замисли зборуваат на македонски јазик. Едноставно не ме интересира, што сакаат нека кажат за мене нема никакво значење. Јас сум заљубена. ( се трга настрана и поцрвенува)

Зорица: Ајде, ма ти со таа заљубеност, како никој да не е бил заљубен пред тебе, како само ти да го зборуваш јазикот на љубовта и сите останати јазици се неразбирливи за тебе. Дај спушти се на земја, те молам.

Ана: Ах, да беше така лесно...

Доаѓаат Сем, Бен и Анастасија смеејќи се.

Anastasia: Oh, these Macedonian people are so friendly and generous. I feel so comfortable here. And their food is soooo delicious. Have you tried the ajvar? I have never tried a better food. Look my cousin maдe a photo of the ajvar’s making procedure.

Sam: Oh, interesting but it looks quite hard and complicating, I don’t know if it’s worth when you can always buy this at the supermarket. It’s certainly very tasty but nothing special.

Ben: Oh, I don’t eat pepper and I don’t like anything with pepper in it. Yuk. Ok, can we change the subject, I’m getting bored. Food, food all the time. Tell me Sam have you noticed that girl in the park yesterday? I think Anna was her name. She is gorgeous.

Sam: Yes, I remember she was with her friend Zorica and they were quite interesting for girls.

Anastasia: Boys, look I think they are over there. Come on. Let’s say hello. Come on you two, don’t be shy.

Sam, Ben and Anastasia are going to say hello to Zorica and Anastasia.

Sam: Oh, hello, how are you girls?

Zorica: Fine, thanks

Ansatasia: Fine, thanks.

Ben: Anastasia, how do you say fine in Macedonian.

Anastasia: Добро сум.

Ben: Добло сум.

Сите се смеат.

Anastasia: Ben is very internationally oriented but not towards the food, but towards the girls. (she is smiling at Sam and Ben is blushing).

Zorica: We don’t mind the internationality, we just like to make more friends and you look very friendly.

Sam: I agree with you completely.

At that moment Alex comes.

Alex: Oh, hello, and I was wondering if they are any people in the park and look I have the world here, the USA and Macedonia together. The wishes do come true.

Anstasia: And you are?

Alex: I am whoever you say I’m, but let’s go to the cafeteria over there and then we can introduce each other properly.

Anastasia: That’s a good idea.
