Happy and safe Sunnylands Nursery is set within the attractive and spacious walled gardens of

St Peter’s School. It offers a safe, stimulating and supportive environment where children are inspired to learn and play within a caring family atmosphere. Our large

bright rooms, outdoor covered classroom and extended outdoor space provide the perfect setting for children to be happy and active learners.

Eager and enquiringThrough the gentle guidance and encouragement of our staff, our children develop positive behaviour and essential social skills such as good manners,

sharing and friendship-building, becoming dynamic and independent learners as they grow in confidence.

Sunnylands Nursery provides a structured daily timetable of learning through play. We encourage self-expression and imagination using activities such as painting,

construction, role play and singing. We also offer additional activities such as ballet, French, and music and movement.

As children journey towards the beginning of their formal education, we place a greater emphasis on the development of early reading, writing and mathematical

skills. We value traditional approaches, using technology to support learning, with computers and an interactive ‘smart board’. Our small team of experienced,

well-qualified staff place great importance on building strong links with parents.

The best quality of careA healthy and varied lunch is cooked by our own chef

and children and staff eat together in a seated dining room. A wide range of dietary and religious requirements can

be catered for.

Our fees are competitively priced, we can offer the Government funding for 3 and 4 year olds and we also

accept childcare vouchers in payment of fees. We offer a combination of session arrangements to suit the

needs of parents who can also take advantage of our before and after school care available from 8am to 5.30pm.
