• The perfect tense is formed with the auxiliary verbs avoir and être + the past participle.

• Most verbs go with avoir.

Vous êtes arrivé(e/es) à la gare – you arrived at the station.

Elles sont nées – they were born

NB. If it is feminine then you need to add an e to the past participle. In the plural add an s
