The Phoenix Symphony’s Annual New Year’s Eve Gala

Tuesday, December 31, 2019 | Arizona Biltmore On New Year’s Eve 2018, more than 300 people celebrated, dined, and danced to the world class music of The Phoenix Symphony in a sold-out New Year’s Eve Gala that exceeded its goals in attendees and funds raised in support of the Symphony’s Mind Over Music™ Program. The Phoenix Symphony’s New Year’s Eve Gala returns to the Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019. The 2019 Gala will honor the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust for their tremendous support for the Symphony and for the Phoenix community at large over the past 20 years.

The event includes a cocktail reception, three-course dinner, and a chance to ring in the New Year dancing to the full Phoenix Symphony orchestra. Each year, the New Year’s Eve Gala raises funds and awareness for the Symphony’s Mind Over Music™ Program. Mind Over Music™ is the first symphony program of its kind in the nation. It is a professional development model in which teachers are trained to integrate music into STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) concepts. In collaboration with Symphony musicians, teachers create ground-up lesson plans utilizing music as a means to teach STEAM initiatives.
