The Pilchuck Camera Club was organized June 12, 1964 and is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs (NWCCC). Membership is open to any-one interested in color or monochromatic digital photography. Club meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the Baker Heights Social Hall, 1401 Poplar Street, Everett, WA. Pilchuck Camera Club Meeting Minutes Pilchuck Camera Club Meeting Minutes The monthly meeting of the Pilchuck Camera Club was held on December 13,
2018 and called to order by President Steve Lightle at 7:00pm. There were 23 members present and 2 guests, Lynn Dye
and Reg Marchand. Minutes of the September 2018 meeting were accepted. Treasure Paula Kelley reported in the
Treasury a balance of $995.20 Co-Vice President Sonya Lang presented certificates to the winners of the November
monthly competition. The Judges: Linda Davis, Tracy Carson and Sonia Rahm
PSA: Sonya Lang will be the new Representative. Any future images for PSA will be sent to Sonya via the club’s email
address. Any members who submits an image on the web to PSA need to have a release on file.
Field Trips: Steve Lightle will no longer be the Chairman for the club Field Trips. Sonya Lang stated that she will host an
event to the Woodland Park Zoo. More info to follow.
Tabulation and Projection: were by Bill Schwarz and Steve Lightle. There were 30 Regular, 13 Challenge. Challenge for
the January meeting is Bridges. Images are to be sent in by January 8, 2019.
Program for the evening: Steve Lightle showed Images of the Arches and Dead Horse taken on the recent trip to Utah
and Member Photographers Choice taken throughout the year.
Wildflower Annual Competition The 'Wildflower' competition is part of the annual Image of the Year Competition.
Throughout the year, club members work at taking the best possible wildflower image and then at the end of the year
may submit up to 3 images for this competition. These images are judged outside of the club along with the IOY images.
Image of the Year At the conclusion of each year's regular monthly club competitions, members may submit up to three
of their monthly competition images for the Image Of the Year competition. These images are judged outside of the club
and the results revealed at the annual Image of the Year banquet. Bill Schwarz stated that when sending in images to
make sure that the image is: Title - Name of Sender (ex. Sunflowers – Sonia Rahm) Image size no larger than 1920 Wide
X 1080 Tall.
Plans are being made for the Annual PPC Banquet to be held in March 2019. More info to follow. I would like to thank
the club for giving me the opportunity to be the secretary of this wonderful club for the last two years.
As of January, Sonya Lang will be serving as Secretary.
A Holiday Gathering was held with delicious food brought in by club members.
