ABOUT WAKEFIELD

Wakefield Trinity is a Rugby League club based in West Yorkshire, UK. Founded in 1873, the team currently plays in the Super League, having won promotion in 1998. Their long-term home, Belle Vue, holds around 10,000 fans.

The club also puts a strong focus on the development of its own players, and has a number of academy and development squads which coach players from the age of 15.

SITUATION

Mark Applegarth, Head of Youth at Wakefield Trinity, explains:
