The greatest benefit of working on
knowing yourself is gaining
Self-knowledge.
Self-knowledge
separates the
best from the rest,
even from the professionals.
Vocational knowledge alone is not enough to make you great
at what you do.
Self-knowledge will lead to
self-mastery.
True vocational mastery is
only possible when self-knowledge is integrated with vocational
knowledge.
Many are just good at their work,
but not great .
Self-knowledge
is the missing link.
Consider:! T h e h e i g h t o f y o u r amb i t i o n ,
the width of your understanding, t h e d e p t h o f y o u r i n s i g h t ,
the magnitude of your inspiration, t h e r e a c h o f y o u r l o v e .
You must know what's your problem before
you can solve it.
W h e n e v e r w e h a v e a c h a l l e n g e i n l i f e o r w o r k , i t ' s because we don ' t know
what's the true problem.
Whenever we are stuck in a situation,
and getting emotionally wrapped around it,
it’s very difficult to see clearly to
identify the real problem.
Unless & until we solve our problem, the situation will never improve,
& it can certainly get worse.
By working on something else which is not the real problem, we can never solve our real issues at work or life.
We are actually quite 'blind'. We can't really see clearly our real issues creating trouble for us.
It requires courage & honesty
to see ourselves clearly.
Human beings are the only creatures capable of thinking ourselves out of our problems.
Is it true that human beings
don't really 'think'?
You can learn to think clearly.
You can think your way to
excellence!
Learning is important because that's how we gain new
insights & knowledge.
True learning requires us to s e e d i f f e r e n t l y from before the learning.
True learning will lead you to achievement!
It's great & wise to have a mentor to guide you.
A good mentor !cares for his mentee's !
learning & achievement.
A good mentor can !guide you to know yourself so
much better.
A mentor who gets to know you better can see your blindspots better than
you or anyone else can.
