THE POWER OF THE 1/8TH CALL

On my website, I show some race results to prove how important and consistent the 1/8th call statistics are in greyhound racing. The fact is that 75% or more of all the races are won by the 1st or 2nd greyhound to reach the 1/8th call.

I have received emails in the past saying that we may have “hand picked” the 1/8th call results on our website showing only the races that prove this point. So, to put these concerns to rest for everyone and for good, I have pulled ALL the available results on the Internet for “the very same date”. I selected February 28, 2009 evening when available.

If a track did not run on that date, I selected “February 28, 2009 afternoon” or the next available date. As you can see in the chart below, the lowest “%” we found was at 64%, 7 tracks ran in the 80% range and 3 tracks ran as high as 93% on this night. This is the way it is on ANY day. Do your own research and you’ll find that this is a very consistent fact that has been around as long as greyhounds have run in circle chasing a fuzzy toy. Of course you don’t have to take my word on the results above. In the next 24 pages you can view the actual race results for each and every track with the winner of the race highlighted in yellow as CLEAR proof positive that the greyhound was 1st or 2nd to reach the 1/8th call. I have listed only the top 2 or 3 finishers in the race since it would have taken too many pages to print all this data for no reason. Since we are only looking for “the winner” of each race, the dogs who finished 2nd or worse don’t really matter.

TEST TO 1/8th CALL ADVANTAGE FOR YOURSELF

I just showed you that the 1/8th call had a 79% win ration on the 24 tracks tested in the previous section. A 79% advantage is a very important factor to know if you want to wager for profits. Now, I don’t want you to take my words for it or to even believe the undeniable proof I listed in this book. Go ahead and test it for yourself. This one is a no brainer and is proven every single day. What I am telling you can be tested and verified over thousands of races. I will show you how to test this undeniable fact so you can test it on 10 or even 10,000 races and the results will ALWAYS be 75% or MORE of the races are won by a greyhound who is 1st or 2nd to the 1/8th call. Open any program (or go to the Internet) and you’ll see the same results over and over again. Turn to the results section (sometimes called charts). Then count how many times the 1st or 2nd greyhounds to reach the 1/8th call win the race. You’ll realize it’s always 75% (winning 7 out of 10 races) and this never EVER changes. THIS IS A FACT!!

Obviously, it’s one thing to look at past performances to see the results will always bear this out. And, it’s quite another thing to find these greyhounds PRIOR to the race taking place. This one aspect of WOFS is one of the most well guarded secrets my players and I have kept for 30 years. It took me 3 years to master this critical aspect of WOFS. Now, while I can not divulge this secret technique in this book (or it would amount to training you via this book), this critical factor is what I refer to as the “loop hole” in greyhound racing. The technique means my pro players average passing 50% of all the races they review BEFORE going any further in the WOFS handicapping process. The reason we always pass 50% the races we review is because we can only accurately identify the 1st or 2nd greyhounds who are sure to reach the 1/8th call 50% of the time.
