    University of So. Caro-lina and received aBachelor of Arts in

    Journalism. Recently,she attended CentenaryCollege, where shereceived her teachingcertification for grades

    K-5. While there, Mrs.Markus had the distin-guished honor of beingnamed Student TeacherLeader in the Fall, 2007.She currently teaches

    Language Arts forGrade 5, Social Studiesfor Grades 3,4,5 andalso Single SubjectMath, Gr. 4.Mrs. Markus has

    accomplished a greatdeal and has made atremendous impact onthe students and staff inthe two years that she
