Pace also expresses the genre of film as with the ‘Matrix’ there are fast movements and rapid cuts, and for the audience to grasp the concept of he characters reflex's and strength slow motion is used to show and invigorate the audience with editing.

• By highlighting a scene with color or decreasing the pace to linger on a shot of a item, person, or thing.

‘Contrast’ short film, color editing I added to the sequence to indent significance to the unkempt actions of the character which will inevitably contrast with the other character.

• Editing is used to cut between scenes to follow the action for example in a car chase the scenes commonly rapidly cut between different angles and camera shots of different clip sequence to follow and implore the intensity of the chase.

Then usually through a close up of another character, that characters point of view of the same situation is seen through another angle and another variety of editing techniques.
