DONOR RECOGNITION LISTINGWe sincerely thank the following supporters for their generous cash gifts that were received by Pro Seniors between May 21, 2015

and January 28, 2016. We have made every effort to make sure this list is complete and correct. If we have made an error, pleasecontact us at (513)458-5525. Thank you so much for your support!

An Ombudsman in ActionKaren, who lived in an assisted living community in Butler County, received a discharge notice for an

unpaid bill. The facility said that they would send her to her daughter’s home since no other homewould accept her with an unpaid bill. Unfortunately, she had no idea why she had an unpaid bill andher daughter worked full-time, so her home would not be a safe environment for Karen. Karen and herdaughter contacted Pro Seniors and our ombudsman, Deb, stepped in to help.

After several phone calls, Deb realized that there was a mix-up with Karen’s Assisted Living Waiverfunding. Deb worked with the Council on Aging and Butler County Job and Family Services to get theissue resolved. Karen’s funding was reinstated retroactively so there would be no unpaid bill, allowingher to remain in her home in the assisted living community, as she wanted.

Lucky 13th GRAND RAFFLELast year, one of our supporters stood out as a master

raffle-ticket seller. Lynn Hughes with Multi-State TitlesAgency LLC, says that she doesn’t do anything special;she just asks. She tells them a little about Pro Seniors –what she calls “an easy job.” She says, “I can usually getpeople to buy in because it’s a good cause.”

We hope you’ll find it just as easy to sell tickets this yearas Lynn because the funds from the Grand Raffle go tosupport our three programs: legal services, theombudsman program, and Ohio SMP. And we havefantastic prizes!
