The project aims to develop innovative practices in the use of ICT in the effective teaching of Literacy to migrant adults (refugees, newly arrived migrants, asylum seekers, young adult migrants and migrant women), by testing and implementing innovative practices, including the creative use of ICT for language learning in the field of formal and non formal adult education of 8 European Countries: Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and Spain. OBJECTIVES Analyzing of good practices and methodologies of adult migrant literacy programs in the countries of the partnership. Development of innovative practices, including the creative use of ICT for language learning, using for example mobile devices and social media: APPs, Whatsapp, videogames, etc. Development of innovative methodologies for the integration of digital and media literacy in migrant adult education. The project aims to develop innovative practices in the use of ICT in the effective teaching of Literacy to migrant adults (refugees, newly arrived migrants, asylum seekers, young adult migrants and migrant women), by testing and implementing innovative practices, including the creative use of ICT for language learning in the field of formal and non formal adult education of 8 European Countries: Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and Spain.

OBJECTIVES

•Analyzing of good practices and methodologies of adult migrant literacy programs in the countries of the partnership.

•Development of innovative practices, including the creative use of ICT for language learning, using for example mobile devices and social media: APPs, Whatsapp, videogames, etc.

•Development of innovative methodologies for the integration of digital and media literacy in migrant adult education.

•Training of educators working in the field of adult education, develop their media and digital literacy competences through project activities and E-learning modules (MOOC)

•LEARNING, TEACHING and TRAINING ACTIVITIES Organization of 2 LTTA in Bologna and Tilburg, where teachers and partners will share expertise and present innovative methodologies and best practices of their respective countries, contributing to the elaboration of didactical plans and evaluation strategies.

•NATIONAL TEACHER TRAININGS Training of 120 teachers in 8 European countries with innovative practices, providing so ideas and tools for more attractive education and training programs.

•EXPERIMENTAL WORKSHOPS 44 experimental workshops will be made by the partners of the project during the second year of the project. The workshops will be made up of various activities to be carried out with adult migrants. Each workshop will stand-alone and will have 6 hours duration and objectives, so that teachers, trainers or educators will be able to use various workshops by combining them in different ways according to their curriculum objectives.

•NATIONAL TOOLKITS in 7 different languages. The Toolkit will spread “how to do” and example of “what to do”, to support the “know how” of teachers and educators working with adult migrants in Europe. The workshops focus on the effective and creative use of the new media and apps in literacy learning, development of innovative methodologies for the integration of media and digital literacy in the education of migrant adults; social inclusion and development of social, civic, intercultural competences; media literacy and critical thinking; and the integration into new “digital citizenships”.

•MOOC in English, composed of 10 modules and a duration of 4 months, addressing stakeholders able to implement training activities for educators working with migrant adults in Europe.

•NATIONAL SEMINARS to present outputs of the project.

•FINAL CONFERENCE in Bologna, to present and discuss with partner’s experts and with external’s experts about the MOOC, the 8 Toolkits, the methodologies and the 44 workshops designed and implemented within the project.
