I. Name of Project: Christmas Lantern

II. Objectives

A. Make a Christmas lantern B. Practice proper work habits

IV. Materials A wooden star-shaped framework

Strips of wood enough to be used as the circumference of the star

Colored plastic covering

Cellophane

Garlands

Illustration board

Aluminum foil paper

Light

Tools and equipment

Scissors

Ruler

Pencil

Pen

Glue gun

Glue sticks

White glue

Double-sided tape

TapeV. Procedure 1. Attach the wooden circumference to the wooden star-shaped framework. 2. Fasten the pointed ends of the wooden star with the wooden circumference with either tape or glue.

3. Cover the circumference of the lantern with cellophane.

4. Cover the framework of the five-pointed star with the colored plastic

covering.

5. Stick the garlands on every sides and edges of the star.

6. Add the tails on the lower part of the circumference with colors that will

complement the color of the lantern.

7. Cut a small rectangular piece of illustration board then cover and design the top with curled thin strips of aluminum foil paper.

8. Put and stick the small piece of illustration board inside located at the

middle of the star. 9. Place and stick the light on the upper opposite side of the illustration board.

10. Stick the figurine on top of the illustration board.

11. Do all other necessary improvements and amendments to the lantern.
