Characteristics of the Rainforest

• The climate in the tropical rainforest is wet. Average rainfall: it varies from 1500 and 2000 mm and 3000 mm or more. The soil is very shallow. This area has a great amount of organisms.

Plants in the rainforest

• There are many types of plants in the rainforest. Here are a few! There is Bengal Bamboo which does very well with the wet rainfall. Another is the Great Kapok Tree! It can grow up too a height of 150 feet or more! Last there is the Jambu. It has shiny thick skin.

Rainforest Animals

• There are many animals that live in the rainforest. Here are a few! 1st there is a orangatang,they are the largest apes in the world. 2nd there is a jaguar which is a speices of wild cat. 3rd is a andacona, also known as a water boa! Those are some animals!
