Badgerland Awarded Major Grant
Here's awesome news - Badgerland was awarded a significant grant aimedat helping get more girls to experience outdoor camp. Over a three-yearperiod, the $150,000 grant will help identify what Badgerland girls andparents want in multi-day outdoor experiences. The grant will fund researchto clarify exactly what it will take to get more girls to Girl Scout camp which,research proves, helps girls gain measurable skills and confidence.Additionally, the grant will support adding a part-time naturalist to theProgram Team and enhanced staff training to grow and enrich our outdoorprogramming for Girl Scouts. This initiative is made part in possible by agrant from Margaret A. Cargill Foundation. Stay tuned for future updates aswe work together to build the Outdoor Experience for all Badgerland GirlScouts!
