Listening Activity: Role card Students will listen to the following description – ‘Well, in football, if you want to score goals you need to be very fit. I guess one has to exercise a lot, build strong muscles and eat healthy-lots of fruits, juices and cereals. You also need to be able to cope up with pain. It’s a lot of body contact, kicking, fighting for the ball, falling on your face. It’s kind of tough. Speaking Activity: Role Play Your aunt is a painter by profession and lives in another city. She reads a lot of books and you have taken to reading after her. You also share her interest in painting. When you meet her after a long time, she gives you some story books that she has finished reading, and some new paint brushes that she has brought for you. You feel thrilled and excited.
