Your invitation to bring hope to families living with breast cancer.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Since 2002, The Red Devils has been making animmediate and profound impact on the lives of breastcancer families living in Maryland. By funding theirtransportation to treatment, family support needs, and medical services and treatment-related therapies,The Red Devils has removed the barriers to treatmentfor more than 4,000 women since our founding.

Until there is a cure, breast cancer patients know theycan rely on The Red Devils to bring them and theirfamilies hope.

2014 will be the 12th year for our 5K run and 1 milewalk to support Maryland breast cancer families. Fromits beginnings at a Howard County park with barely 50participants to its current Goucher College home withmore than 1,000 registrants and donors, Running withThe Devils has become a Central Maryland tradition.

Proceeds from Running with The Devils -- $125,000 --will improve the quality of life for more than 400families in 2014.

Last night was the first night thatI actually laid my head on my pillowand slept. The reason I slept wasbecause yesterday I was told thatThe Red Devils would pay my rent. When I first heard the news, my initialreaction was disbelief. Then I startedto cry. When I was without rent or late,I did not see an end to that. You cameto the rescue. Robyn

Treatment is a long journey made upof many appointments and reliabletransportation is essential. Over time mymedical bills grew so I sold my posses-sions, including my car. My friends andneighbors volunteered to drive, but theiroffers faded as the months passed.Without your service, I could not havegotten to all of my appointments. Nancy

Running with The Devils is a family-friendly event accessible to anyone who wants to spendthree hours on a Sunday morning wearing horns and breaking a bit of a sweat! This is a 5Kunlike any other not just because the participants are wearing disco sequined Horns of Hope, but because everyone who arrives on site is greeted by one or more of the members of thefamilies who founded the organization and personally thanked for supporting our cause.

Running with The Devils offers its participants and sponsors an intimacy of scale that cannotbe found in marathons or festivals. That valued attribute, plus knowing where the moneygoes: TO MARYLAND FAMILIES LIVING WITH BREAST CANCER, and how those funds arespent: NINETY CENTS OF EVERY DOLLAR DIRECTLY BENEFITS A PATIENT, explains whyso many people return every year and bring others to join them.

On Sunday, June 8th, we anticipate between 1,000 and 1,200 people will earn their Horns ofHope!

Each registrant receives a drawstring goodie bag, stuffed with souvenirs and treats. Survivorswho join us for the morning receive a special gift honoring their journey. Our guests feast ona complimentary array of bagels, fruit and beverages before and after the race. At theirleisure, they may enjoy the event Village where tented spaces host our BIG TENT RAFFLE,FUN & GAMES CORNER, MASSAGE THERAPY, PARTNER HOSPITALS, and OTHER VENDORS.

The 5K runners respond to the starting horn at 8:30 that morning, followed by the 1 milewalkers. Runners wind their way through campus to the streets of Towson before makingtheir way back to the Charm City Run finishing arch. Our walkers remain on campus. By 9:30,we are ready to award medals to our top finishers AND to those who accomplishedfundraising, team building, and spirit milestones.

In years past, Baltimore's mayor (whose mother is a breast cancer survivor), has joined us onstage to congratulate the finishers. We've also received proclamations from the CountyExecutive and Congressional Delegates.

Running with The Devils is an established platform with a solid track record ofattendance, support, and impact on The Red Devils mission to improve the quality oflife for breast cancer patients and their families.
