Item 03: “Emptiness” The Dzogchen Ponlop, Rinpoche

Donated by Sioga Geoghegan

The Dzogchen Ponlop, Rinpoche created this calligraphy in 1999 at Boulder Colorado. The symbol in calligraphy represents emptiness which is a key principle in Mahayana Buddhism. This image first appeared publicly on the cover of Bodhi magazine, Volume 4, No. 2 that was published in 2001.This calligraphy was reprinted in April 2002 as part of a limited series. The ink and paper used for these prints is acid free and of archival quality.

His commercial photography has been architectural work, but also has had a considerable amount of experience with editorial portraits and photographing people for advertising. is latest personal work and book is Ms. Booth's Garden, a project that spans twenty years of work in a small community in Mississippi.
