Two instruments, one framework

I. Advanced Market Commitments: “Country RE Power Supply Curves”• Sets targets for the future purchases from RE sources,

underpinned by associated financial commitments by donors, up to an agreed “ceiling”

II. Output-Based Aid: “Cost of Power Supply Curves”• Transitional or long-term subsidies (5-10 years) for output-

based co-payment for delivery of certified and metered amount of electricity generated through RE resources
