offers a fully equipped fitness centre, along

with the first of the resort’s four outstanding

food and beverage venues, The Kintyre Club

restaurant. Even closer to your Residence is

The Old Clubhouse Pub, a cheerful, traditional

pub serving fine fare in a lively atmosphere. At

the resort’s Royal Hotel location on bustling

Campbeltown Harbour, you can enjoy fresh

choices at The Harbourview Grille, while The

Black Sheep Pub next door offers pub food in

Argyll offer an almost endless list of exciting

things to see and do. Whether your preferences

lie in outdoor pursuits, sightseeing, exploring

history, or shopping and cultural excursions,

you’ll find lots of options within a short distance

of your Residence at Machrihanish Dunes.

Here, at the end of Sir Paul McCartney’s famed

“Long and Winding Road”, nature is all around

you. The opportunities for fishing, shooting,

sailing, surfing, horseback riding, road biking

and mountain biking, along with other exciting

nature excursions are plentiful. Day trips to the

neighbouring islands of Islay, Jura, Gigha and

Arran are easily arranged, too, as are scenic

boat tours to Davaar or Sanda Islands and even

Northern Ireland, which is just 17 miles as the

crow flies from your Residence.

Cultural activities also abound. Historic Saddell

Castle is just up the road. The Campbeltown

Picture House is the U.K.’s oldest, while just

down the street from it you’ll find world-famous

Springbank Distillery, where whisky tastings and

being offered to the public on a freehold shared

ownership basis. Unlike timeshare, freehold

shared ownership is an equity-based form of

ownership which gives you a valid, heritable

title that is registered in the land register of

Scotland. The title to your Residence is freehold

and yours forever, which means that you can sell

it, or pass it on to an heir, at any time you wish.

The private residence club allows owners, family

and friends to have full use of their Residence

for their allotted week or weeks. Should you wish

to visit during a different week, that is easily

arranged through the Residences’ exchange

PRIVATE LETTING

Owners may let any or all of their weeks on their own directly to visiting golfers and holiday makers and

retain all of the revenue, paying only the weekly housekeeping charge.

LETTING SCHEME

Owners may also place any or all of their weeks into our letting programme. We will assume all costs

(marketing, reservations, housekeeping charge, etc.) associated with letting the week(s) to visiting

golfers and holiday makers and pay the owner one-half of all revenue received. There is no guarantee

that any particular Residence will be rented.

FIXED RENTAL LETTING SCHEME (GUARANTEED RETURN)

For those who do not wish to acquire the Residence initially for use and occupancy, we will let all of the

weeks back from the owner upon purchase for a three-year term and will pay the owner a fixed rent

equal to seven percent (7%) of the purchase price. The rent will be paid annually at the end of each

year during the term.

for payment of the Annual Estate Charge.
