In the summer of 2006 I had theprivilege of visiting the Tomb of theUnknownSoldiersinArlingtonCemetery,and observing the Changing of theGuard. “Thebodyofanunidentifiedsoldier,killedinFrance,waslaidtoeternalrestintheplazaof theMemorialAmphitheater[inArlington National Cemetery] on 11November 1921.This soldier representsalltheunidentifiedandmissingfromWorldWarI.”1

“The inscription reads: ‘Here Rests In Honored Glory An American Soldier Known But To God.’”2

THERE ARE NO HEROES UNKNOWN TO GOD

Godknowseachandeveryoneofus.TherearemissionariesknowntonoonebutGodandthepeopleoftheforeignnationwheretheyservedGod.Theygaveuptheirlives,theirfamilies,theonestheyloved,thecomfortsofhome,andofttimesmarriagetoanswerthecallofGodandgotothemissionaryfield. AftertheoutpouringofPentecostduringtheAzusaStreetRevival,hundredsfeltthecalltogotoAfricaandChina;andmanywent,onlytolastamonthortwo,becausetheydiedoffeversforwhichtherewasnocure.Nooneevenknowswhere

BelovedReader, Weknownotwhat tomorrowholds; butweknowWhoholdstomorrow! So many unexpected and unexplainable things havehappenedinmylifesincewesentoutourlastRevival Call Magazine! Iknewasthisyearbeganthattherewouldbemanygreat trials awaiting us, but I also knew that therewouldbemanygreat triumphsandvictories.Wehave

experienced some of our greatestandmostpainfultestings,andnow,wearelookingforwardtosomeofthegreatestvictories. Wehavechosentodedicatethisissuetomylatehusband,Lt.Col.Jim Shaw, because we want tohonourhimforallhepouredintoourlives.1Hegavehisbest.

As I have been goingthrough some of his papers and“treasures,”Icameacrossaphotoof his mother, Olga Shaw, takenin December, 1929, when Jimwas ten years old. On the frameshehadwrittenthesewords:“MySon, always give cheerfully oftheBest that is inyou,as Ihaveever tried to do. Lovingly, YourMother.” ThatwasthemottobywhichJimlived.Everythinghedidwaswithexcellence.HelovedGod,hisfamily,hisfellowmen,thenationsoftheworld,theEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantsandFLYINGwithALLofhisheart.Thatiswhyhewassuchagoodpilot.Whenhedidsomething,itusuallycouldnotbeimprovedupon.Helovedunreservedly,gaveuntilhehadnothingmoretogiveofhisownreserves,andthenheborrowedthathemightbeabletogivetootherswhohadneed—eventhoughhehadtopayinterestontheloan.Heleftnogoldchainsbehind,nodiamondrings(onlyhissimplegoldweddingring),noexpensivewatches(hisweretheWal-Martspecials),andnonewandexpensivecars,andother1 Seepages4-5*PortraitbySteveSawyer

“toys.”TodayheisrejoicingintheHeavenlyMansions,togetherwiththeothersaintswhohavegoneHOME. OurfrontpagearticleisbasedonamessageIgaveat Rev. Bobby and Teresa Hogan’s Labor Day CampMeetinglastyear.Itwas,andstillisatimelymessage,because, not only in our lives, and our ministry, hastherebeen“achangingoftheguard,”butworld-wide,inthenationsandministriesoftheworld,andinmanyfamilies, there have been some very big and oftendifficultchanges.

HereinourEngeltalFamily,welost threeofournearestanddearest members within a shortperiodof time.First to leaveuswas our beloved Helen Hilley,mother of Marylois Little, whowenttoherHeavenlyrewardafterseveral months of suffering. Itwasapainful,butnotunexpected

loss,becauseshehadbeenaskingtheLordto“takeherHome.”ShepassedawaypeacefullyinthearmsofJesusonSeptember10,2006. Then one morning inDecember,2006,afterdoingsomeChristmas baking, Valerie DevlinwasputtingonherovercoattogototheofficetoworkonourweeklyPrayer Letter (of which she wasthe chief editor, and head of ourintercessory ministry), when theAngeloftheLordgentlyextendedherHeavenlyrobeofwhitetoher,andcoveringherwithHisGlory,hepreparedherforherjourneyHome.Whatashockthatwastoherhusband,Bill,thestaff,andallherlovedones!ThatwasDecember19.Jim’spassingwasonMarch5,2007.Welostallthreeinaperiodofalmostsixmonths.Andtheyearisstillnotover! SincePapaJim’shome-goingleftavacancyinourleadership,afterprayer,theHolySpiritledustoinviteSharonBuss,whohasbeenwiththisministryforthirtyyears,totakeJim’splaceastheVicePresident.ShewasalreadyontheBoardofDirectorsalongwithherhusbandPhilip.AndduetothefactthatDorothyBussisnotable,becauseofherage,etc.tocontinueinthecallingshehadsince our beginning, there were two vacancies on theBoard.We invitedRev.Emmanuel Jibuike ofNigeriaandRev.DorisSwartztobemembersofourBoardofDirectors. They have been faithful friends for aboutfortyyears.So,wetoohaveexperiencedanunexpected“changingoftheguard.” HAPPY NEWS! What a glorious time we had in Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada,August20-25,2007attheEnd-TimeHandmaidens and Servants All-Nations InternationalConvention! Canadian Director, Carol Morris, alongwithherwonderfulhusbandErnestandafaithfulteamof intercessorsandhelpsministers labouredwithgreatloveandintensitytopreparethewayintheSpiritandinthenaturalforagloriousmeetingwiththeLord.

SisterGwenspoketwiceonthesubject,“TheNationsAreYourGemstones,”tellingmanyoftheexperiencesinherlifeastheLordhastakenherintheanointingfromnationtonation.Itwasinspiring!

Mark Sandford, SpiritualDirector of ElijahHouseMinistries,presentedthecomfortingpoweroftheHolySpiritforthoseplacesinoursoulsthathavebeendamagedbytrauma,neglectandsin.OhwhatdeepinnerhealingisavailabletousinthekindnessofourFather’slove—evenmother’slovethathasbeenmissing!Healsosharedfromhisowntragicexperienceofbeingmolestedasaseven-year-oldbyagangofteenagedboys,andhowthegraceandhealingpowerofGodbringsgreatrestoration.

GeneralGeorgesSada,aborn-againbeliever,formerAirViceMarshalloftheIraqiAirForceandadvisortoSaddamHusseinwasadelightfulguestspeaker.Hegaveusaclearoverviewof thehistoryofhisnation,goingbacktobiblical timestodescribetheareasecondonlytoIsraelinitsmentionintheWordofGod.Hebroughtusup-to-datewithaccountsoftherecentwarsinKuwaitandIraq,tellingfascinatingstoriesofGod’smiraculousintervention to stop the madman, Saddam Hussein.He also told of the location of the weapons of massdestructionthatSaddamhadmovedjustbeforethewar.

KennyBlacksmith,aformerDeputyGrandChiefoftheCreeNationofCanada, stirredourheartswith thenews of how God is moving among the First Nations(theindigenouspeoplegroupsofCanada),theInuit(theindigenouspeopleoftheArctic)andMétis(pronouncedMAY-tee, descendants of marriages of First NationspeopletoFrenchCanadians,ScotsandEnglish).TheyareseeinggreatrestorationastheLordmovedonthemtowriteandsignacovenanttogetherinHim.

SadhuSundarSelvarajpreachedatwo-partmessagefromMatthew24andRevelation6toshowusthatwearepresentlyinthe“beginningofsorrows.”Helikenedittothebirthingprocesswhenthecontractionsbegininarelativelymildandinfrequentmanner,andelaboratedonwhateventsthenearfuturewillbring.

Father Daniel is a proudpapa.So,onewenttoGod(PapaJim)andonecamefromGod(Elizabeth).Goddoethallthingswell.Inthemidstofpainthereisjoy.AstheBiblesays,“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;” (Ecclesiastes�:1-2).FriendsoftheirsmaywritethemincareofETH,P.O.Box447,Jasper,AR72641. Lt.Col.JamesvonDoornumShaw,USAF,Ret.,87,ofJasper,Arkansas, tookhisfinalflight,departingforHeavenonMarch5,2007at6:00a.m.fromtheNewtonCountyNursingHome,followingabriefillness.

BornJune5,1919inAlTahoe,CaliforniatoJamesand Olga Shaw, “Papa Jim,” as he is affectionatelyknowntothousandsaroundtheworld,becameahardworkerattheageofninewhenhisfatherpassedaway,deliveringnewspapersontworoutestokeepbreadonthe table forhismotherandyounger sister.His loveaffairwithflyingbeganearlytoo,andhebecameapilot,joiningtheU.S.ArmyAirCorpsin1941,graduatingflight school as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1942. He was aflight instructor frommid1942 to 1944, preparingmanypilotstogointowarzones in both the Pacificand Europe duringWorldWarII.From1945throughtheendofthewar,hewasstationed in New GuineaandthePhilippines,servingas Squadron Commanderandmaintenancetestpilotafterrepairsweremadeonaircraftdamagedinbattle.Hespentnearly2�yearsinthemilitary,retiringfromtheAir Force in 196� as a Lieutenant Colonel from

the �41st MissileM a i n t e n a n c eSquadron (SAC)in Great Falls,Montana.

Following hisdischargefromtheservice,hesought

a career as a missionaviator,wantingtousehisflyingskillsfortheserviceof the Lord.A short timelaterhemarriedmissionaryGwen Bergman SchmidtandbecamethepilotfortheEnd-Time HandmaidensandServants,International,and they subsequentlymoved their headquartersto Jasper, Arkansas.Together they servedGodinmanynationsaroundtheworld.

Hewasprecededindeathbyhisparents,JamesandOlgaShaw,andhiseldestson,Jimmy.Heissurvivedby his wife, Gwen Shaw of Jasper, three daughters,two sons, three step-sons, 21grandchildren, 8 great-

grandchildren anda sister.Thousandsofpeopleofallagesfelthewasafatherfigure to them andwillmisshislovingembrace.

He served theLordasatrueEnd-

TimeServant,fulloftheloveofGod,humble,capableandwise.Heleftfondmemoriesinmultitudesofhearts.Heavenisricherforhispresencethere.

Because he wenthome to Heaven justtwo days before thealready scheduledEngeltal Retreat, hisfuneral became thefirst meeting. By thetimethemeetingswerescheduledtofinish,thePresence of the Lordhad become so strongthatthemeetingswerecontinueduntil�0daysfromhispassingwerecomplete.Seepage14forthemessages.

On March 5th 2007, Lt. Colonel Jim Shaw wokefromwhatseemedtobealongwinter’snap.Helookedabout and felt so refreshingly different. He could seehis loved ones and friends, and could not understandtheirsadnessbecausehefeltsogood.Hebegantoseeagreatmilitary-likeentourage!Hethoughtforamomentthathewasbackinthemilitary,becausetheywereallat strict attention in perfect rank as if honoring somehighofficialorhighrankingofficer.PapaJim,alwaysahumbleman,didnotrealizeforafewmomentsthatallthis pomp, pageantry and demonstration of honor wasforhim.HesuddenlyfelthimselfthrustgentlyintothemidstofthisHeavenlyRegimentofsuchmagnificentlydressedsoldiers!There were banners and flagsrepresenting different battle groupsand as far as he could see it was asplendorousarmy!ThenitsuddenlydawnedonPapaJim thathishonorguardwasmadeupofwarriorangels.Theyweresoawesomeandyettheystood at strict attention in greatermilitaryformthanhehadeverseenonEarth! Papa Jim then looked back, wondering if his littleGwennieandtheotherscouldseewhathewasseeing.Butherealizedthattheycouldnotandhecouldnolongergotothem.ThenheheardaVoice,“FearnotMyfaithfulGeneralShaw,forOurlittleGwennieandtheEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantsareinMyspecialcare!ThegreatsplendorousarmyyouseeisthepurifiedarmyoftheEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantsintheEarth!YouwereMykey,modern-dayMordecaiforhelpingmebuildthisarmyofMyholinessandgreatdeliveranceforthelastdays.ThisgreatmilitaryentourageisHeaven’sfinestwhohavecometoescortyoutoyourthronenearMythronenexttotheFather.TheyhavewatchedoveryouandallofEngeltalandtheEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantsformanyyearsnowandtheyhighlyrevereyouasoneofthegreatGeneralsoftheArmyofGodintheEarth.Theyconsiderthismomentofescortingyoutoyourappointedplaceforeternitytheirgreatesthonor.Then they shall return to Engeltal to prepare with theHandmaidensandServantsforthelastgreatbattle. Papa Jim then turned to see where the Voice wascomingfromandhesawtheCaptainoftheHostoftheLord.PapaJimfelltohiskneesandcried“Holy!Holy!

HolyistheLord!”HesawtheLordhighandliftedupandHis trainfilled theHeavenly temple!Hishairwaslike wool! His countenance was like the sun at fullstrengthandyetPapaJimwasabletolookuponHimforbriefmomentswithoutbeingblinded!Hiseyeswerelikelightning!AndHisVoicewas like the sound ofmanytrumpets! Then there was a blast of the Ram’s horn and agreatshoutandtheVoicesaidthistime,“Saintsoftheages! Great cloud of witnesses and angelic host, thisisagreatmomentthatyouhavebeenlookingforwardtowitheageranticipation! Ipresent toyouoneofMy

greatGeneralsfromtheEarth,PapaJimShaw!Bepatientnow!Youwillget your opportunity to meet him!Leaveroomforhisfamilytogettohimfirst.Lettheprocessionandthecelebrationbegin!WelcometoyourplaceinMyKingdom,Mygoodandfaithfulservant!EnterintothejoyofyourLord!”HumblePapaJimissoawestruckbyallofthispomp!

Suddenly Papa Jim felt an oldfamiliar hug as two arms wrapped around him frombehind.Electrifiedwithjoy,heturnedtoembracehissonJimmywhodiedattheageof18.Earthlywordscannotexpressthisreunion! Robin, Helen, Valerie and many more familymembersand friendsandEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantswhohadpassedoverJordanbeforehimbegantoembracehimandcelebratehishomecoming! PapaJim then turned to lookbackonemore time.He wanted to wave goodbye, but he knew they couldnotseehim.Thensuddenlyhesawthegreatarmyagain,onlythistimeitwasevenmoresplendorous!PapaJimseemedtobeona“highmountainoverlookingagreatplain.TheArmy wore armor that was polished silver,shieldsthatappearedtobepuregold,andweaponsthatwereboth silver andgold.Different battle groups andbattalionsweredistinguishedby such things as sashesor shoulder epaulets. Their were 12 divisions leadingthevanguardthatstoodoutsharplyfromthemultitudeofsoldierswhofollowedbehindthem.These12majordivisions were distinguished by their glorious bannersthatidentifiedthembytheirHeavenlyrank.Thebannerswerehuge,�0-40feetlong.Asthesoldiersmarched,their

armorandweaponsflashedlikelightninginthesun,andthe flapping of the banners and the tread of their feetsoundedlikerollingthunder.PapaJimcouldnotimaginethattheEarthhadeverwitnessedanythinglikeit.Thenoneofthelargebannersandthedivisionthatmarchedbehind it caught Papa Jim’s eye. He then heard TheLordbesidehimagain.“Lookclosely,oldwarrior!”theLordsaid.JimdidasHesaidandkeptfocusingonthatonebannerandasitgotcloser,hisheartbegantoleap!Yes, sure enough, inscribed on that beautiful crimsonbanner were beautifully golden woven, letters, “End-TimeHandmaidens and Servants and Engeltal!” Suchexhilarating joyovercamePapa Jim!Hecould seehislittleGwennieatthefrontofthisgreatarmydivisionofdiverseracesfromallovertheearthfromeverytongue,kindred,andnation—youngandold,maleandfemale.Therewasafierceresolutionontheirfaces,yettheydidnotseemtense!Warwasintheair,butintheEngeltalranks Papa Jim could sense such a profound peace.He could sense that not a single one feared the battletowhichtheyweremarching.ThespiritualatmospherethatsurroundedtheEngeltalDivisionofGod’sarmywasasawesomeas theirfierceappearance.However, theirfierce appearance could not cover up the love in their

heartsfortheirSavior,fortheyknewthateveninwar,“LoveisstilltheLawofAngelsandtheLord!” TheLordthenspokeagaintoPapaJim,“MydearoldWarrior,JimShaw,Iwantedyoutocatchaglimpseofthegreatarmythatyouhelpedbuild.WhatyousawisMygreatarmyforthelastgreatbattleontheEarth.IwantedyoutoseethehighrankoftheEngeltalDivisionthatyouandourLittleGwenniebuiltthroughthepowerofTheHolySpirit!MyEnd-TimeHandmaidensandServantsaretrulyoneofMytopdivisionsintheEarth!Theyarestillinpreparation,butthevisionofthisgreatarmywillsoonbecomearealityintheEarthandbecauseyouwerefaithfultotheendandwatchedoverthewelfareofMypeople,greatareyourrewardsinHeaven!SuddenlytheLordlefthissideandPapaJimlookedoffinthedistanceandsawtheLordhighandliftedupagain,butthistime,Papa Jim saw Him standing beside the Great ThroneandontheThronewastheAncientofDaysandinHishandwasthegoldenscepteroftheGreatKing!TheLordspoketotheAncientofDaysandHeturnedandstoodupandextendedthegoldensceptertowardhim—andhumblePapa Jim lookedabout to seewho the scepterwaspointingtoandhenoticedthehighrankingmilitaryangelswerebackandlookingathimalongwiththegreatcloudofwitnesses!TheyallnoddedatPapaJimandherealized the Scepter was pointing at him. hadknownnothingaboutmyplans.ThenextdayIphonedtheministryandtoldthemIwasgoingtoUkraine.IstillbelieveIwasinGod’swill.Therewere41memberssplitupintoeightsmallteamstogotoeightdifferentpartsofUkraine.FourofuswentfromEngeltal;LarryGroves,LindaHartzell,DoreenShurleyandI.

I felt Iowedadebt toUkrainebecause itwas thatpartofRussiathattookinmyforefathersduringthedaysafter theirbanishmentfromtheirhomesinSwitzerlandandAustriafortheGospel’ssakeinthe1700’s.MyteamministeredintheareawheretheyhadlivedinpeaceforonehundredyearsbeforetheycametoAmerica.Iministeredwithtearsandgratitudetothedescendantsofthesegoodpeoplewhohadwelcomedmypeople andgiven themlandtofarm.ItwasclosetoChernobylwheretheterribleexplosiontookplaceattheatomicenergyplant21yearsago. Much of that part of Ukraine was ruined by thatdisaster.Itwillbeyearsbeforeitwillbehabitableagain!Weweretoldofatownwhichhadbeendeserted,exceptforonewoman,sowewenttoseeher.Shetoldusthatall

Manytimeswegothroughhardanddifficulttrials,whichwecannotunderstand.ButsomedaywewilllookbackandknowthatGodhadaplanforusthatwas,notonly for our best, but also for God’s best; and that isreallywhatwewant.

IwashopingthatitwasnotseriousinspiteofthefactthatIheardmybonescrackandbreak.Ispentthenightinthehotel,prayingandwaiting;butwhenmorningcameandIwasstillinmuchpainIwaswillingtoletthemtakemetothehospitalinanambulance.Thatiswhenthelocal

orthopedic doctor, a youngPalestinian from Gaza, aftertaking X-rays told me howseriously I was injured. in Iraq I will never forget this God-given experience of

seeingourboysandgirlsbeingairliftedinfromIraqandtheMiddleEast.Itisheartbreakingtoheartheircriesofpaininthedarknessofthenight.

I had hoped they would perform the surgery inGermany,buttheywerenotwillingto,soIwouldhavetobeflowntotheUSA.Buttheytreatedmewithmuchkindness,andImetmanywonderfulChristians.Finally,thedecisionwasmadetoflymebyLufthansatoChicagoonThursday,April26. Itwasa longflight,butfinallywe arrived. I was carried by ambulance from O’Hareto MidwayAirport, where another air ambulance waswaitingtoflymetoArkansas.IarrivedatWashington[County]RegionalMedicalCenterinFayettevilleaftermidnight,tired,andinpain.

Prognosis and Surgery: Thenextday,Dr.ChrisHanby,mydoctorwhohad

caredformewhenIhadmylastaccident,cametovisitme,orderedX-rays,andgavemetheprognosis.Manyintercessorsprayed,andonMondaymorning(April�0),Iwasoperatedon.Godhaddonetwomiraclesbythistime—myrightanklewasalmosthealed,andmyleftshouldershowednosignofafracture.PraisetheLord!Thesurgerytookovertwoandahalfhoursbecausethepartofthebonethathadbrokenoffhadtoberestoredtowhereitbelongedandaplatewitheightscrewssecuredit in place. duringthisdarknight,theirtruemotivesurfaces.Theonly thing thatwillholdus when the nucleus depresses is apureheartofloveforthelostandatruedesiretoseeGodglorified.Godwiselyobserves that anyone who survivesthisnight is rightfullysuited to invadeenemyterritory.

Again we see this fifth stage in our key verse, 2Chronicles 7:14, “...will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways...”Itwouldseemthatbythisstage,Godwouldknowwehaveabandoned our sin. The issue, however, is somethingdeeper;itdealswithourways.

Our repentance has dealt with what we have done;nowthepurificationfocusesonwhatweare.ThepsalmistdistinguishedtwoaspectsofGod:HisactsandHisways.“He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel” (Psalm 10�:7). The children of IsraelonlyknewGodfrommiracletomiracle,butMosesknewthedeepintentionsandthelong-rangeplanofGod.Mosesunderstoodtheessence,heartbeatanddirectionofGod.

To turn fromourwickedwaysdoesn’t justmean torepentofoursins.Hitherto,wehaverepentedofouracts,now we need deliverance from our ways. GethsemanewasthedarknightofthesoulforJesusChrist;itwasthetestofHisways.YouwonderifJesushadtorepent.Theanswerisno,butHehadtobeexaminedinHisFather’scourtofjustice.Thedarknightofthesoulisaverybafflingtest,foritcomesataleastexpectedtimeandwithspecialconditions.Theinnernaturemustbesurprised,caughtoffguard,inordertobeexposedandconquered.Inthemanyrecordsofrevival,thereisanalmostuniformdescriptionofthiscrucible...onthemountaintoponemoment,feelingrunoverbyatrainthenext.

Joseph, barely recovered from a glorious dream, isthrownintoapitbyhisbrothers.David,stillhearingthechantofthethrongsaying,“SaulhasslainhisthousandsandDavidhis tenthousands,”wakesupinacavebeinghuntedlikeananimal.EvenJesus,withthehosannasstillringinginHisearsfromthetriumphalentryintoJerusalem,now prays alone, cold, tormented, sweating blood, andsurroundedbysleepingdisciples.

The battlements of Heaven are waiting for thatunmistakableringofgenuineobediencewherethedragonofhumannaturehasbeenmetandbeheaded.“NotmywillbutThywillbedone!”Beforethecrowncomesthebittercup. Itmustbe swallowed to thebitterdregs.Sothen,whatistheLordreallylookingfor?–Aservantwhoknowsthat thecupcannotpass.Takeheart ifyouwishthatitwouldpass.EvenJesusaskedifitwasnecessarytodrink.ButHedidnotasktoescapebecauseoffearof

painorselfishness.Heaskedbecause,forthefirsttimeineternity,HewouldbeseparatedfromHisFather.HeknewthattheplantosavemanwouldhavetobreakHisFather’sheart.OnlyAbrahamandIsaaconMountMoriahcouldbegintounderstandthegrief.

Hereinliesthetruththatreleasestheglory.Inrepentingofsin,weridourselvesofevilbutinthedarknightofthesoul, we surrender the things we dearly love, things wecan’treadilyidentifyasbeinginconflictwithGod.Heretheissueisnotrightandwrong,buthighandlowpurposesofliving.

Spiritual awakening is not simply getting rid of sin;it isgivingGodwhatHewants.AgainandagainIhavetriedtostressthatwemustconcludewithironresolvethatthereisnosubstituteforrevival.Itisthehighergroundwemustreachbecausethefloodisrising.Nopointofreturncanexist,noalternativecanbeconsidered.Forfiretofallandconsumethesacrifice,itmustbeinnocentandwithoutblemish,but,mostofall,itmustbeonthealtartostay.

Undereveryothercircumstanceournaturecanhide,butinthisdarknightitscreamsforitsway,anditsmanytentaclesareexposed.Theprotestwasimmediate.“Whythiswaste?”screamedtheapostles,ledbyJudasIscariot.Theiroutragewasalmostconvincing.Theointmentwasworthayear’ssalary(maybe$12,000today).Itcouldhavebeenusedtohavefedthepoor,theyargued(actually,Judaswantedtostealit).

Thisistheentireissuewithrevival.TheywantedtodosomethingforGod.MaryknewitwastimetodosomethingtoGod.ThetimehascometopouroutourbestonGod.Jesussaid,“Thepooryouhavewithyoualways.”Gooddeedsarealwaysavailable.

AmericaisspirituallydyingbecauseGodhassalesrepsandnotchannelsofHisglory.Wefeverishlydotherightthings,almostasabribetopostponetheneededpouringoutofourselvesasa livingsacrifice.Againwemustnolonger see the bad things as barriers to revival, but theseeminglygood.

Wecan’tdoleoutpreciousointmenttothepoorindosesthatdon’tcurethemorhonorGod.WemustbepouredoutonGod!

Spiritual awakening means that the faithful becomefiery, the decent become dynamic, and the acceptablebecomeexcellent.But,mostofall,webecomedisgustedwithourevil,andtotallydissatisfiedwithourgood.

Werealizethatnowisthetimetopulloutallthestops.Noprogramissacred,noworthyprojectisworthenough.Noneoftheointmentcanbespared.Itisrevivalordeath!

Revival comes out ofnowherebysovereigntiming.Theprayercoreisreadytofallfromexhaustionbuthangsonbyitsconfidenceinthefaithfulness of God. Jehovah detects that special qualitythatcanberewardedwithrevival.

Everywhere I went the Lord gave me wonderfulopportunitiestowitnessforHim.Imetmanykindandgoodpeoplewhoworklong,hardhourstobringhealingand comfort to the sick and the dying. My wonderfulstaffpreparedeverythingformyhomecoming,andtheymovedmeintothenewlyconstructedonelevelpartofourhouse.Icamehomewithmixedfeelings.Larrywasdrivingmehome,andasweturnedtocomedownthehilltoEngeltal,hesaid,“It’sanewbeginning.”Immediatelytearscame tomyeyes,as Ianswered,“Yes,and it’sahard beginning, for this is the first time Jimwon’t beheretowelcomemehome!”

Some months have passed and I’m now walkingwithawalkeroracane.IleaveinafewdaysforBerlininobedience to theordersof theLord.Thankyou foryourkindnessandprayersasIcontinuetoobeytheLordtodowhateverHegivesmetodo!

A friend once told me about an acquaintance ofhers who left a church where the Spirit was movingto go to a denominational church because it was“predictable.” Many have left their stations in thework of God as a result of saying “no” to the HolySpirit—“I’ll go this far, but no farther.” These havegoneouttoliveand/orministeratthatlevelandbelow.Aswetalked,Ifelt thatsomeofthesewhohavebeenset aside to wander for “40 years in the wilderness”with leanness in their souls will be drawn back in.

All these who have been side-tracked by theirown lusts and rendered ineffective by the accuserof the brethren will return, repentant, to bring in thegreat harvest now at hand. They have already beentrained in the things of God and are the captivesspoken of in The Final Quest by Rick Joyner. Weare on the verge of their rescue and restoration.

Whilewewerediscussing these issues, IsuddenlysawintheSpiritahuge,atomicmushroomcloud.Youmay know that people at ground zero in Hiroshimaand Nagasaki were simply “vaporized” and all thatremainedofthemwastheirshadow,etchedinthewallsofthenearbybuildings.AsIsawthemushroomcloud,theLordbegantopourthefollowingmessageintome:

We are at ground zero of an “atomic” explosionof God’s mighty, heretofore unseen power. All theknown and predictable of God’s power, includingall the miracles of the Bible (the parting of the Red

Sea, the sun standing still in the Valley of Aijalon,the creative miracles of the Gospels and the book ofActs)will be like the commonlyknownatomsbeforetheyaresplittoreleasetheenergyoftheatomicbomb.

When that explosion takes place, everything atground zero, everything “normal” will be vaporizedand a pillar of the “predictable”/known/Biblicalmiracles will billow/shoot upward. But then asplittingof thoseknownmiracleswilloccur,releasingthe unknown power of God to form the top of themushroom cloud, billowing out above the pillar ofthe known, to reach far beyond the known into thereaches of the domain seen by Ezekiel, Daniel andJohntheRevelator—intothatwhichPauldescribedas“unlawful [impossible] tobeuttered” (IICor.12:2-4).

Those who will cling only to the “normal” willbe “vaporized” and disappear from the scene. Thosewhowill layasidetheirneedtocontrolandwillyieldto God, will reach into this explosion of God’s gloryand be catapulted into miracle ministry. And thosewhowillbewillingtoletGodshatterandsmashtheirpreconceived understanding of God, will be changedinto the image of the resurrected Christ. They willreceive their glorified bodies with their anatomicalstructure rearranged at the atomic/molecular level—restoring the power of God to each atom. They willcome and go like the wind and pass through wallslike Jesus in His glorified body. These will be usedin the power and demonstration of God’s unknownpower to be vessels of miracles heretofore unknown.

ThePresenceoftheLordhasbeensostrongandsowonderfulattheOzarkGloryTabernaclewherewehaveheld two glorious camp meetings this year, up on themountain,northofourheadquartersinEngeltalValley.

Papa Jim Memorial Camp MeetingWhen Papa Jim passed away March 5, 2007, his

funeralbecamethefirstmeetingofouralreadyscheduledEngeltalRetreat.HisHome-Goingservicewasglorious,withfriendsfromallovercomingtosharetheirheartswithusaswegatheredtocelebratehislifeandshedourtearsofsorrow.Ofcourseweweepnotasthosewhohavenohope(1Thess.4:13),forwelookforwardtojoininghiminGloryintheLord’stime,butwemisshimdeeplyanditisdifficulttoadjusttohisobviousabsence.

As the Retreat progressed, the Presence of theLordwassostrongthatwefeltweshouldcontinuethemeetingsaswewerehavingatruevisitationoftheSpiritofGod.SowepostponedourscheduledISOMsessionand continued in the “CampMeeting” style, day afterdayandnightafternight,untilwehadcompleted�0daysfromPapaJim’spassing.WefeltratherlikethechildrenofIsraelwhopausedfor�0dayswhenAarontheHighPriestpassedaway.

Duringthose�0days,manyspeakerscamewiththeWordoftheLordforusandSisterGwenherselfpreachedseventimes.Infact,shehadbeenthescheduledeveningspeakerforthefirstnightoftheRetreatandsherosetotheoccasion,eventhoughshehadjustburiedherbelovedhusbandthatafternoon.Themessage,“WeepingasTheyWent,” was unforgettable! Thefirst nightBobby Hoganpreachedapowerfulwordcalled,“IHaveCometoGiveYouHopeanda Future.” He shared extensivelyaboutthe“darknightofthesoul”and overcoming it in God. Many

Sister Gwen Shaw wasthespeakerthesecondnightandpreached“TheMidnightHour isComeuponUs.”Midnight is the time when one day ends and anotherdaybegins.Itisatimeoftransition—akairos time!Itisthehourwhenalltenofthevirginsslumberedbutonlythewiseonesawokewiththeiroilalreadypreparedforthebridegroom’scominginthedarkhoursofthenight.

Midnight was the time when the destroyer came toEgypt and only those who were under the blood weresparedfromlosingtheirfirstborn.

MidnightwasthetimewhenPaulandSilas’praisinginthemidstofpersecutionandimprisonmentbroughtanearthquake that not only set them free, but gave themaharvestofsouls!

And midnight was the time when Ruth obeyed hermother-in-lawandwenttothethreshingfloortomeetherBoaz.AndBoazrosetotheoccasionandpledgedtoseetoherneeds.Herobediencecausedhertoreceivethepromiseand Boaz loaded her up with plenty of grain from theharvesttocarryhome!

The next morning Peter Snyder gave us a reportonwhatGodisdoinginChinaandhowwemustwrestlelikeJacobuntil thedawnandnotgiveup.Hepreachedachallengingmessageandsaid,“It’snothowmuchsleepyou

ThetimingofthecomingoftheLordisbasedontheclockofIsraeland missions. Hudson Taylor feltthat when all of China is reached,theLordwillcome.

Peter also told us about how his brother Phillip,a missionary to Haiti, was shot, abducted and thenwas miraculously delivered. infertilitycausedherintercessiontotakeonanewlifeform.When she prayed, “Lord whenYou give me ason,I’llgivehimtoYou!”that’swhatGodwaswaitingforbecauseHehadplansforherfirstbornson.Hehadpromisedtoraiseupafaithfulpriest.

WeweredeeplyhonouredtohaveonemeetingwithGeneral Georges Sada of Iraq. He comes from anAssyrianChristianheritageandbecamegenuinelybornagainin1986.HeservedintheIraqiAirForcerisingtoatwo-starGeneralandAirViceMarshallbeforehewasforcedtoretireforrefusingtojoinSaddam’sBa’athParty.
