3 Most Dangerous Airports -Sragvi Pattanaik
If you flew out of one of these airports over Spring Break, I hope you had safe travels.
When people plan to go to an exotic place for vacation, they usually spend a large por-tion of time on booking the perfect hotel and going to the memorable sights. One thing that people don’t usually spend a large portion of time on during vacation planning is deciding which airport is reliable and has high safely standards. There may be a point of time when you go to one of the world’s dangerous airports and don’t even know it.
The 3rd most dangerous airport in the world is Madeira Airport which is on Madeira Island. Its runway is shorter than most and it is surrounded by bodies of water on one side and high mountains on the other. At 10mosttoday.com, it states, “Located on the island of Madeira (Portugal), this international airport has a short runway...and is surrounded by ocean from the one side and high mountains from another.” However, this air-port probably causes pilots to be more focused when landing.
The 2nd most dangerous airport in the world is Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport which is on Saba Island. This airport is covered with high hills on one side, and drops into the sea on the other. This airport has a shorter runway than most, which can create tension for pilots when landing and taking off. According to 10mostto-day.com, even the most experienced pilots agree with the fact that this airport is stressful and “...one of the most dangerous airports in the world.”
The most dangerous airport in the world is Princess Juliana which is located on Saint Martin. This airport’s runway is much shorter than others, but this is not the main reason for its rank-ing for being the most dangerous airport. This particular airport’s runway is dangerously close to Maho Beach. This airport is known for its planes flying 10-20 meters over the people on Maho Beach. This airport is different than most airports, which can be more of a bad thing than good. So, keep track of the airport you relied on for spring break or any time in the future because it might be one of the world’s dangerous airports. Movie Review

The Disney company made the amazing Big Hero 6. Big Hero 6 is about a boy named Hiro and his big brother Tadashiin the city of Sanfranokyo. Hiro was a major bot fighter (where you fight small robots against each other). One night Tadashi took Hiro to his college where he met Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, and Fred. But most importantly he met Tadashi’s project, Baymax. Bay-max was a helping robot which checked the health of a person every time they said “ow”. The next night Hiro made it into the college, but a fire broke out killing his brother. The next day Hiro found a masked man who he suspects started the fire and killed his brother. So Hiro and his friends build these super suits to upgrade them and become the Big Hero 6.
Now finally for the review. I would give the movie Big Hero 5 stars. I would give Big Hero 5 stars because it is a total change for Disney because most Disney movies are about love and Big Hero 6 focuses more on revenge. It also has a lot of action and an action based story line. That is my opin-ion on Big Hero 6.

I was so disappointed in this movie that I would only give it 1 Star. This movie is one of those horror movies that is extremely repetitive and one of the most un-scary movies ever. After watching OUIJA, I thought I would be too scared to sleep but you know what, I actually had a good night’s sleep. I’ve seen it twice, but to be completely hon-est, it wasn’t worth seeing in a movie theater. My friend and I also watched it in her basement. Her mom collects creepy looking dolls
and even watching OUIJA with the creepy dolls around us, we both slept perfectly fine. Beware if you watch OUIJA there are a few scary parts that got me but overall it just wasn’t scary. So watch it but I recommend getting it at a REDBOX for only $1.
Please remember: That this is just my opinion. Ask around see if maybe your friends liked it better than I did. By Skylar Garner

The Making of Interstellar Part 2 (continued from issue 2)
“Chris really wanted us to sell the idea that the black hole is spherical,” Franklin says. “I said, ‘You know, it's going to look like a disk.’ The only thing you can see is the way it warps starlight.” Then Franklin started read-ing about accretion disks, agglomerations of matter that orbit some black holes. Franklin figured that he could use this ring of orbiting detritus to define the sphere.
Von Tunzelmann tried a tricky demo. She generated a flat, multicolored ring—a stand-in for the accretion disk—and positioned it around their spinning black hole. Something very, very weird happened. “We found that warping space around the black hole also warps the accretion disk,” Franklin says. “So rather than looking like Saturn's rings around a black sphere, the light creates this extraordinary halo.”
That's what led Thorne to his “why, of course” moment when he first saw the final effect. The Double Negative team thought it must be a bug in the renderer. But Thorne realized that they had correctly modeled a phenome-non inherent in the math he'd supplied.
Still, no one knew exactly what a black hole would look like until they actually built one. Light, temporarily trapped around the black hole, produced an unexpectedly complex fingerprint pattern near the black hole's shad-ow. And the glowing accretion disk appeared above the black hole, below the black hole, and in front of it. “I never expected that,” Thorne says. “Eugénie just did the simulations and said, ‘Hey, this is what I got.’ It was just amazing.”
In the end, Nolan got elegant images that advance the story. Thorne got a movie that teaches a mass audience some real, accurate science. But he also got something he didn't expect: a scientific discovery. “This is our ob-servational data,” he says of the movie's visualizations. “That's the way nature behaves. Period.” Thorne says he can get at least two published articles out of it.
When Thorne discusses the astrophysics that he likes best—colliding black holes, space dragged into motion by a whirling star, time warps—he uses a lot of analogies. He talks about two tornadoes running into each other or rays of light cast about like straw in the wind. But metaphors can be deceptive; they can make people think they understand something when they only understand what it is like. But Thorne's haloed, spinning black hole and galaxy-spanning wormhole are not just metaphors. Most Interstellar viewers will see these images—the worm-hole, the black hole, the weird light—and think, “Whoa. That's beautiful.” Thorne looks at them and thinks, “Whoa. That's true.” And from a certain perspective, that's beautiful too.

Renewable Energy
Our school has many wonderful things that we can enjoy, but something that would be nice to have would be renewable energy. Once you adjust to the thought, can’t you imagine yourself walking to school and seeing some wind turbines on the field and seeing some solar panels on the roof? It wouldn’t just be eye appealing, but it could really be a dramatic change to our envi-ronment and change our daily lives in a beneficial way. Solar panels and wind turbines are a good way to prevent global warming. Also, we can relate to the idea of having renewable ener-gy when we learn about it in science class, and can really understand the process. Having re-newable energy in our school can be nice, but there can be some problems. If we switch to solar panels, it can be a bit expensive. So, some after-school activities might be cut from our school if we start on solar panels. If we start on wind turbines, it could hurt wildlife. Also, if any flying creature goes near our wind turbines, it is likely that they will be hit by the tur-bines. Turbines can also make some noise when they are converting the wind into energy. It is important to take the pros into a person’s generalization about renewable energy, and it is also important to understand how renewable energy can affect us in both good and bad ways. In the end, we have to ask ourselves one big question: Is renewable energy worth it?

Was the PARCC Worth the Buildup?
I personally HATE the PARCC assessments, but not for the questions, the fact that it was on the computer, or that it messed up schedules. I hate the buildup. I mean for three months your teach-er kept on scaring us with a test, And then It turned out to be about nine questions per day. Cor-rection, nine easy questions per day. I can’t speak for every 6th grader, or any of you 7th or 8th graders. So I interviewed a few of them:
Was the PARCC easy, medium, or hard?
The PARCC test is supposed to measure your abilities and tell you whether you are ready for col-lege or a job. For one month we took math and reading tests for about 1 hour per session. There were a couple of delays because of snow days but we soon started the test for real. Now it’s time to get ready for the End of Year (EOY) PARCC!

Sherlock Season 4 Becomes a Reality
The wildly popular British crime drama “Sherlock,” a modern adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous novels, is returning with a fourth season in 2016 and a seemingly Victorian-themed Christmas special in December 2015.
It appears that the Christmas episode fea-tures our favorite sleuth and his assistant Dr. John Watson in Victorian Era costumes. Sherlock sports a top hat and tuxedo, while John dons a mustache and bowler hat. The specific plot of this episode is unknown, though there are hints that creator Mark Gatiss has based it off of Conan Doyle’s “The Red-Headed League.”
Season 3 ended on a shocking cliffhanger. Jim Mo-riarty, Sherlock’s greatest nemesis, had previously faked his own death to trick the detective, but at the very end of the Season 3 finale, every television in Brit-ain is hacked by an image of the sinister villain saying, “Did you miss me?”
Though nobody is entirely sure what will happen in Season 4 (except creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss-those little devils), here are some theories and facts about the upcoming season:
1. Mary, John’s wife, will most likely die. Fans have come to this conclusion because in Conan Doyle’s original series, Mary is tragically shot and killed. 2. Season 4 will supposedly be much darker, but also much better than the first 3 seasons. "We have a plan to top Season 3," said Steven Moffat. "And I do think our plan is devastating. We’ve practically reduced our cast to tears telling them the plan … we’re probably more excited than we’ve ever been about Sherlock." 3. It will be full of surprises. “Of course, it’s far too early to say what’s coming,” said Moffat, “But we’re reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John, is the very last thing you’d expect …” 4. The Christmas special will wrap up the Moriarty story arc. 5. Female characters such as Sherlock and John’s gossiping housekeeper Mrs. Hudson and the shy but lovable Molly Hooper will have more prominent roles.
No one knows exactly what evil plans Moffat and Gatiss have concocted for Series 4, but as of now we Sherlock fans have no choice but to spend our time frustratedly poking around on the in-ternet and ultimately expecting the unexpected.
