1The Seventh CommandmentYou shall not steal.What does this mean?We should fear and love God that we do not take our neighbors money or property or get it by dishonest dealing, but help him to improve and protect his property and means of income.

Throughout the Bible we see that the Lord considers our gifts to him as very important.Malachi 3:8-10 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse-- the whole nation of you-- because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.

Whats the difference between giving to the government & giving to the LORD?Romans 13:6-7 This is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are Gods servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

BUT giving money to the LAZY is not God-pleasing.2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: If a man will not work, he shall not eat.

Being faithful managers may also mean that we give intelligently to charities.
