The World Golf Championships have brought together the best golfers in the world in a series of championships which are sanctioned by the International Federation of PGA Tours.

The Accenture Match Play Championship features the world’s top 64 ranked players from the Official World Golf Ranking in match-play competition.

The CA Championship features the world’s top 50 ranked players from the Official World Golf Ranking, plus the leading players from each of the six member Tours of the International Federation of PGA Tours in stroke-play competition.

The Bridgestone Invitational features the world’s top 50 ranked players from the Official World Golf Ranking, winners from select worldwide events and members of the last named Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup teams in stroke-play competition.

Proceeds from the Accenture Match Play Championship primarily benefit the Tucson

Conquistadores Charities. Key beneficiaries include The First Tee of Tucson Youth Golf and Life

Skills program, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Arizona, YMCA and Pima County Special Olympics.

Since 1962 the Tucson Conquistadores have contributed more than $20 million to hundreds of

youth organizations, teams and individuals.

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain will test the

world’s best players over a par-72 layout that measures

7,833 yards, but the Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses

will emphasize playability and aesthetic appeal for
