Brendan Cusick, Managing Director, Head of Securities Lending Trading and Inventory Management, UBSBrendan Cusick is a Managing Director and Head of Securities Lending Trading & Inventory Management in the Americas at UBS. An 18 year UBS veteran, he spent 12 years as a trader in the Equity Derivatives and Convertible Bond teams before joining the Global Financing Services business in 2011. Brendan has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, a MS in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jill Rathgeber, Managing Director, Product and Strategy, BNY MellonJill Rathgeber is a Managing Director and Securities Finance Product Strategy Manager within BNY Mellon Markets. She joined the firm in May 2013 and is responsible for overseeing the expansion of the agency and principal securities finance businesses through new product development, geographical expansion and new trade structures. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Jill spent 20 years with State Street Global Markets’ Securities Finance division in various roles. While at State Street, Jill managed the U.S. product development team responsible for conducting the due diligence for all new products and product expansions for both the agency lending and principal lending businesses. She also spent several years as an International Equities Trader covering global equity markets, including time spent in Tokyo covering Asian equity markets, and held various positions within Securities Finance Operations. Jill holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Providence College and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.

Seth B. Carpenter, Chief US Economist, UBSSeth Carpenter is the US Chief Economist at UBS. Before joining UBS, he was Head of US Research at Rokos Capital Management. Prior to this position, he had a long and distinguished career in the public sector. Seth was at the US Treasury from 2014 to 2016 and was nominated by President Obama to be Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets after being Deputy Assistant Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis. Seth worked for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from 1999 to 2014. He joined as a research economist, rising to the level of Deputy Director of the Division of Monetary Affairs.
