THE PATRIOT ACT OF 2001.

“Uniting and strengthening America by providing appropriate tools required to intercept and obstruct terrorism”. Passes in the wake of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001- a time of national unease and fear- the Patriot Act is passed by the Congress and became public law 107-56 on October 26, 2001.

FACTS AB OUT PATRIOT ACT OF 2001 .

1. Sep11, 2001: Two hijacked airliners deliberately crashed into the twin towers of the world trade center in NYC.

2. Occurred on Americans soil.

3. 2,998 civilians died in the attack.

4. Fight terrorism.
