The Salvation Army - Red Kettle Campaign - “Bell Ringers” are needed! The Salvation army provides: Meals, shelter, Christmas gifts, shoes, along with
other assistance to underprivileged children, youths and elderly members of the community. A lot of this is done through the money earned at the Bell Ringer stations throughout the community. If you would like to assist with
ringing a Bell this Christmas season, please contact Will Trueblood at: [email protected] / or call the church office.
VPBC is starting a Prayer Time. The first Saturday of the month. 8am-11am in the Student Center. Join us as we pray for our:

Deacon’s Meeting Sunday, Nov. 17 @ 3:30pm in Room 106
“Good News. Great Joy.” “But Jesus called them to Him, saying, ‘Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.’” Luke 18:16, ESV
For 20 Years, because of peoples love and generosity, Samaritan’s Purse has been able to deliver shoebox gifts more than 100 million children all over the world. You, too can participate by packing a shoebox and praying.
A shoebox filled with small toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, will tangibly demonstrate God’s love to the children receiving them. You can pick up the packing instructions in the foyer of the Worship Center. Once you have the box packed, please include $7 with it for shipping.
Prayer is the next big way you can impact these children. Pray that their hearts are opened to God’s leading, and through these gifts they would come to trust Jesus for their eternal life. If you just want to donate money for shipping that is another great way to get involved. Be sure to specify what the funds are for either on the Envelope or check that you send in.
Each shoebox that gets packed and delivered has the opportunity to share the Love of Jesus Christ to a child.
