Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon kicked off the Saturday Night Live’s 40th

anniversary special with a musical sketch featuring notable characters and talent

from the show's history.

Since its premiere, I have admired SNL for being a breeding ground for great

talent. Some of the biggest names in TV and film ­­ Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey, Will

Ferrell, and Steve Martin got their start on SNL and we have watched them go on

to very successful careers.

In my opinion, Jimmy Fallon is a great example of a creative talent going from

auditioning to interviewing (on The Tonight Show). Through his hard work,

networking, and determination he has grown and excelled based on his

employers needs and expectations.
