As the first bar in Vietnam, 2 Lam Son is thrilled to unveil its newly installed 3D light projection equipment artistically created by the leading Japanese firm LUCENT. LUCENT by Takahiro Matsuo creates emotional light artworks and designs, using diverse technologies and aesthetic expressions. It fuses lights, spaces and people, and allows them to interact with each other. All visual attractions follow the themes “modern”, “luxury”, “nature”, “reality” and “beauty”.

The newly fitted lights harmonise perfectly with the existing interior and lighting, producing different scenes with different colour palettes. The main light presentations – Golden Particles, Flower Colours, White Lights and Vietnamese Colours – are inspired by Saigon’s culture and landscapes. It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Jarryd Kinsella as Director of Food & Beverage of Park Hyatt Saigon, overseeing the Food & Beverage operation.

Over 10 years ago, in 2009 Jarryd first started his Hyatt career in Food & Beverage at Park Hyatt Melbourne where he progressed through the ranks and then joined Grand Hyatt Melbourne before transferring to Park Hyatt Saigon as Square One Outlet Manager in 2016.

Over the past 3 years, Jarryd has been a great addition to the management team and he has been involved in the continued luxury redefinition of our F&B outlets. He also greatly contributed the development and establishment of our F&B service team.

We look forward to Jarryd’s ability to operate with excellence and to lead and guide his team to create rare & intimate signature experiences for our guests delivering an unparalleled service in the city.

Le Petit Chef is a remarkable culinary experience, using cutting-edge 3D visual technology and effective storytelling to present the story of a small animated chef who is projected onto diners’ plates and proceeds to cook the food on the plates in front of the diners’ eyes.

Le Petit Chef – Marco Polo edition will take place in the Kitchen Room of our acclaimed Square One restaurant. From Wednesday to Sunday there will be one show for lunch and two shows for dinner. On Monday and Tuesday there will be no show.

Guests can choose from ticket packages including the Business Class five-course menu at VND 2,300,000 per person, or upgrade to First Class for the premium five-course menu version for an additional VND 1,150,000 per person. A welcome drink is included and wine pairing packages are also available.

All prices are subject to a 5% service charge then 10% VAT. Kids below 8 years of age are not encouraged to attend.

To start off, enjoy drinks at the Vespa-themed café, Café Zoom, to watch “as the world goes by” (as said in the Lonely Planet guide book). Throughout the night, try a variety of food and drink at two local restaurants and sample Saigon’s best authentic street food.

Zoom through the bustling traffic past the famous must-see sights of Ho Chi Minh City. The tour will then head towards a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with special live music, and then wrap up the evening at an exciting rock music bar where the new generation of Vietnamese unwind and flaunt their unique styles. This tour includes free-flowing drinks and all you can eat, so come with an appetite!
