Mission Statement: Holy Child Parish United with the Pope, we the members of Holy Child Parish seek to be a welcoming church, which fosters spiritual develop-ment and expresses charity by living in word and deed the life of Christ. Under the leadership of the bishop, our goals are to implement effective ministries through word, worship, and the sacraments, to enhance the spiritual growth of our parish fami-ly, and to encourage, through works of love and faith, the unity of the Church.
Sacraments:
Reconciliation: Confessions are heard on Saturdays at 3:15 PM at Holy Child Church and 7:00 PM at Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, on First Friday from 9 to 10 am at Holy Child Church, and on First Saturday from 10 to 11 am at Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church. For other times, call the office to make an appointment.
Baptism: Please call the church office to make ar-rangements to meet with the pastor and schedule the time and date of the ceremony.
Matrimony: Couples planning to marry should contact their Pastor at least 6 months before the planned wed-ding date.
Anointing of the Sick: Anointing and Holy Communion are available to the infirmed and homebound. Families are asked to notify the church office to arrange a visit.
New Parishioners Holy Child Parish welcomes you! New members are asked to register by contacting the Parish Office. Reg-istration is a requirement for admission to our religious education programs and reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, First Penance, Confirmation, and Matrimony.

ISLI Leadership Retreat February 14-16, 2020
The International Student Leadership Institute (ISLI) is a peer-facilitated faith-based leadership retreat developed at the University of Notre Dame. The ISLI retreat is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in both the leadership and membership roles of task oriented groups. During the retreat, participants take part in small group tasks that allow the student to make good decisions, examine lead-ership styles, practice leadership behavior, learn about posi-tive communication, and develop self-motivational skills and learn problem solving and action planning techniques. The entirety of the retreat helps students to explore and express faith values in the Catholic Tradition.

Parishioners for personal use: $50 per event per day
Business / Corporate use: $100 per event per day
Non-parishioners: $100 per event per day
Community / Non-profit: $50 per event per day
Applicable liability insurance must be secured for each event before the day of the event. Insurance is available through the Diocese of Scranton. The hall is available for rental only if no parish activity is scheduled. Please contact the parish office at least one month before the planned event.
