NATIONAL CHALLENGE
Only half of all low-‐income high school graduates immediately enroll in college.
Even those who make it to their first day of college are unlikely to see gradua?on day. Only one in ten low-‐income, first-‐genera=on students who enroll in
college earn a bachelor’s degree.

College performance data for the first two categories are readily available. The quality and quan=ty of on-‐campus support systems,
however, have remained elusive criteria to measure.
College supports directly affect graduates’ college comple=on, especially for the neediest students.
SEED INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORTS EVALUATION (ISE)
The Ins?tu?onal Supports Evalua?on (ISE) is an assessment of an ins?tu?on’s current campus based supports from a P-‐16 perspec?ve with special regard to serving historically underserved students.
