With revenue of €uros 56.7 million and 18 years continual growth.
OUR RF SAFETY SOLUTIONSOur solutions support the Aerospace & Defense, Satellite, Telecommunications and Automotive industries, as well as Universities and Institutional Research and Material manu-facturers.
MVG’s portfolio of RF Safety products, in particular, make your safety our priority. MVG brings together technical excellence and first class R&D to deliver innovative safety products for both the European and worldwide markets.
OUR RF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTOur 55 R&D engineers work tirelessly to develop our supe-rior range of RF safety products with the impressive 9.3% of revenue which we plough back into product research and development.
Both private companies and public offices, including city halls choose our products to reassure residents that emissions conform and are within the required safety levels.
Testament to the high quality of our RF Safety products is that we have sold over 1,000 units of EME Guard XS since its launch in 2014 and we are now the preferred supplier to some of the largest mobile phone manufacturers worldwide.
THE PROBLEMIndustry regulations provide recommendations for organi-zations to meet recommended emission guidelines. Orga-nizations such as laboratories, government agencies, and installation technicians; for example, are requested to limit ex-posure of electromagnetic waves to workers and the general public. These companies often want to provide reassurance that they are keeping within the recommended limits. But how can they provide this?
OUR SOLUTIONMVG’s range of RF monitoring products helps companies to monitor the level of electromagnetic waves. This complete range of Radio Frequency (RF) instruments to measure the level of exposure to the electromagnetic fields in a variety of applications:
• To continuously record the electromagnetic field level and alert the user to potential over-exposure
• To monitor current levels and allow users to compare them to the regulatory limits
• To simulate EMF radiation in real environments
Your Safety is our Priority“

RF Safety FAQs
Why do we need to measure
electromagnetic fields?
The general public often asks questions
about the proliferation of wireless networks.
Such as "is the current level of elec-
tro-magnetic field above normal standards?"
Measuring the electromagnetic field is
essential to check that exposure levels
respect the regulatory limits established
in each country, and to ensure the safety
of individuals exposed, whether they are
members of the general public or workers.
What restrictions are in place?
To protect individuals from the potential
health effects of radio waves, protection
levels known as basic restrictions were
recommended by the International Commis-
sion on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection
(ICNIRP - http://www.icnirp.org).
What are the measurement protocols
and standards?
In order to compare the exposure levels mea-
sured at the established limits, measuring
protocols have been established by the main
standardization bodies. Some examples are
the ECC/REC/(02)04 recommendation and
the EN50383, EN50413, EN50492, EN62311
standards in Europe and the IEEE Std.C95.3
standard in North America.

CASE STUDY
City of Bourges Electromagnetic Waves Observatory
One of our products, EME Spy, a RF Dosimeter, was used to take
measurements which would keep the public informed. There were
public concerns over safety through emissions from the City of
Bourges following the set-up of their Electromagnetic Waves Ob-
servatory.
To alleviate public concern, the City of Bourges needed to take mea-
surements to ascertain accurate levels of electromagnetic activity.
To do this, they selected two EME SPY 140 solutions which would
offers residents the possibility to take measurements at home
for free. The outcome was very positive all around, as Mr. Roland
Narboux, deputy mayor, responsible for ecology and sustainable
development, from City Hall of Bourges explains: The public are increasingly worried about the level in
electromagnetic fields. To reassure the public and alleviate
these fears, we brought EME Spy on board to monitor the fre-
quency bands from microwaves, wi-fi, TV etc. We took 120
measurements in public places and private homes and were
completely open with the results.
95% of these measurements are less than 1 V/m. Through its
analysis of frequency bands, EME SPY 140 shows that in the
case of Bourges the main contributors of the electromagne-
tic field measured in a household are not the external anten-
nas, but the domestic appliances. These results allow us to
communicate the low levels to the public, providing complete
reassurance for their safety.”
