graceful garland Looking for dreamy, decadent wedding décor? Try an airy tulle garland. Gather a length of dotted tulle to serve as the base. Then cut rounds of tulle in coordinating colors. Fold into quarters and layer into a fluffy rosette, hand-stitching through the center of the arrangement to secure. Finally, top with a trio of coordinating buttons, and safety-pin to lengths of creamy pearl trim. Tip: Make an even simpler garland by loop-knotting long lengths of tulle directly onto the beads or trim of your choice. Easy!

precious parasol Turn a party umbrella (available in the Card and Party Department) into a romantic wedding parasol. First, remove the paper and paint the frame as desired. Then, cut a circle of tulle to stretch across the ribs—be sure to cut a small hole in the center to accommodate the finial. Use hot glue to secure the fabric at the tip of each rib, and finish with a pretty trim.

table triumph How do you turn a table into a fabulous work of art? You cover it from top to bottom…with frills galore! For an improvised table skirt, staple lengths of tulle to the underside of the table, gathering the fabric as you work. Then finish things

But what really gives these favors their posh pop? That’s right—it’s tulle again! To set the look, cut circles of our favorite floaty fabric to hold candy for your guests. Go for simple bundles, tied with delicate organza ribbon. And you’re done!

care to dance Do you know a girl who’s ready to dance her way down the aisle? That girl should be attended by a tutu! This pretty-in-pink confection features tulle that’s right from the bolt. There’s no pattern required here. We used three rectangles of fabric that were folded in half, decadently layered, and gathered to a simple ribbon tie waistband. Tip: You can get creative with the personal details on this chic piece. For example, we chose to incorporate silk rose petals into the folds of tulle. Then, we added coordinating ribbon and a sweet handmade rosette to the waist.
