What sets PFX Athletics apart from other

companies? We each of us have the

necessary skills and experience to run

successful sporting events. Maybe it’s our

love for the game and the joy that playing,

coaching or umpiring brought us. PFX

Athletics differs from others due to one

simple fact—we have the ability to open

doors of opportunity to women and girls

through sport.

PFX Athletics is proud to sponsor a 16U

College Prep Travel Team. Our coaches,

Alison Strange, Sarah Rotta and Kristine

Dolunt; were all Division I athletes and have

a combined 25 years of collegiate coaching

experience. This travel team was built

around the opportunity to prepare players for

the next level of their career—athletically, academically and personally.

In June, Team PFX went on a 2 week road trip up the east coast to visit colleges

(Division I, II & III) and compete in ASA tournaments outside of Florida. Our

players were excited to tour each campus, learn about different academic programs,

meet college coaches and players, practice on a university’s field, sleep in actual

dorms on campuses, etc. It was an eye opening experience for each girl and now

known as the trip of a lifetime!!

Meet Sarah Rotta

Sarah Rotta is our new

Programs Manager. Some

of you might know her from

running Hancock Park

during THE Spring Games

this past year. Others might

know her as she was a

collegiate coach for many

years.

Sarah was born and raised

in Michigan. Playing softball

her entire life paid off as she

was offered a scholarship to play at the University of

Detroit where she studied Education and Sports

Medicine. After an injury, she had no choice but to hang

up her cleats and decided to pursue a new career. She

became a paramedic to help others in need and did so for

almost 10 years.

In 1998, her passion for the game returned leading her

towards new opportunities of coaching on a collegiate

level. She has been the head coach of 3 different

programs: Ferris State University, University of Michigan,

Dearborn; and Macomb Community College. Throughout

her career, she has over 300 victories, won many awards

such as Conference Coach of the Year, Regional Coach

of the Year, Champion of Character Coach, etc. She has

multiple conference and regional titles as well as

appearances in the world series.

Sarah has proven to be a valuable asset to our team as

she’s one of the original coaches who participated in the

2008 Spring Games and every year following. She

recruited new teams each year and assisted our staff in

achieving success. She’s provided feedback to

improve the operations of The Spring Games. Having

knowledge of the sport (on and off the field) and offering

new programs will be vital to the growth of PFX Athletics.

We have teamed up with Suffragette Softball to have all games

at THE Spring Games live streamed. Friends and family

members who are not able to make the trip down to Florida are

still able to support your team and cheer from a distance at an

affordable cost.

Suffragette also provides on-demand features that are benefi-

cial to coaches and players so they can watch game film at a
