Alamo ASHRAE,

We are fast approaching our first monthly meeting ofthe year which will be a lunch meeting held next Tuesday,September 20 at Oak Hills Country Club. Our own Jim Knightfrom Siemens will be speaking on IT for BAS and it should be avery informative meeting. I know I’m looking forward to it.

Please take a second to review the upcoming meet-ings list and take note of the change in future meeting locations.October we will have a lunch meeting at the Boiler House lo-cated in the Pearl Brewery area, and November will be a din-ner meeting at County Line BBQ on I-10. We are committed to finding a location and time thatwould best serve everyone who would like to attend our educational meetings, so if you havean idea for our monthly meeting location / time, please don’t hesitate to let any of your BOGmembers know (page 2).

One last thing I wanted to note is that this year we are holding a year long “PerfectAttendace” competition for our local engineering firms. Please review page 10 of this newslet-ter for instructions on what this competition is and how your firm can participate. September’smeeting (next Tuesday) counts for double attendance “bonus points”. Chris Delgado has done agreat job of securing good quality topics that are relevant to our engineering community, andwe want you there. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting next Tuesday. Havea great week.

ENGINEERING JOKE OF THE MONTH

A priest, a doctor, and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularlyslow group of golfers. The engineer fumed, "What's with those guys?
