• It’s all about timing – committee will be re-established & restructured to meet the current economic & healthcare climate
Pharmacy Advisory Committee (PAC)
Purposes: Initiate the steps to create the Steering Committee, define activities, create the mandate, identify issues, and ensure representation

Mandate is to act as a bridge between pharmacy / pharmacists and the third party payer sector to enhance operational efficiencies and logistical processes
Issues can be identified by the Steering Committee, or the working group can develop tactics and/or solutions

Outcome: to enhance efficiencies that lower costs and improve the beneficiaries’ experience
Enhanced Pharmacy Services Working Group Mandate: to educate the private sector on the value and
benefits of new services and to jointly advocate for publically funded enhanced pharmacy services leveraging the CPSF

Outcome: to ensure all beneficiaries/patients benefit for expanded pharmacy services
