Actually, They can eat almost anything that comes near the water!

Did you know what a American Alligators jaws are so strong that it can crack a turtles shell?

The BIG American Alligators can eat pigs, deer, cattle, and capybara. Their favorite is the South American caimans.

They can go up to 2 years without eating.

American Alligator lives in swamps, ponds, rivers, marshes, creeks, and canals.

An American Alligator never lives in the ocean.

They can dig burrows to live in for a short time.

They live in the Southeastern United States
