No 3- The Anchor for our Souls

A- Boating story ill……. the anchor open my eyes to hope really feels like.- Personal story (ill) of hope

B- Main text Hebs (quots) …….- Context of the book of Hebrews……….- The promises of God is our anchor, founded on the truth of Christ- This anchor will secure them in their time of troubles…….- (Ill) Heb 12 hero's of faith

Transition- Like the hero's of faith, anyone who has experienced the anchor of hope in a time of need, when storm clouds seem unrelenting, will value it comfort, love its nurture and relish its security. In closing then I would like to finish with this simply story Christian faith

Conclusion- Illustration……….- I urge you then don’t be like me, ignorant of the anchor sitting in my boat…….. - God has made promise’s for us and Christ's resurrection is the proof of the hope we have that death is not the end. Christ life death and resurrection are our anchor, our hope, our security in times of darkness, take the time to know these facts and add them to your life essentials.
