The Iona is a 43ft O’Brien complete with tuna tower and powered by twin 450hp Cummins motors. Launched in 1997 she was specifically designed and built for game fishing charters with manoeuvrability and stability capabilities a major factor in mind for all sea conditions.
Iona is available for:• Cairns Giant Black Marlin Season from September to
December - day charters, overnight live-aboard charters and mothership packages.
• Port Stephens & Newcastle from December to May -day charters targeting black, blue and striped marlin.
• Gold Coast from April to August – targeting black, blue & striped marlin & other game fish for day charters.
• Private luxury charters for corporate events, parties or family events.

The Iona II is a 50ft Custom-built million dollar Dick Ward Sportfisher built in Cairns in 2007 to the owner, Adam Jordan's specifications. Powered by two 450hp Cummins motors she was specifically built for live-aboard charters and to specialise in marlin fishing, big game fishing, sports fishing, light tackle and reef/bottom fishing.
• Queensland & NSW surveyed for 8 passengers plus 2 crew and comfortably sleeps 5 for extended charters.
• Iona II is available for day charters, overnight live-aboard and extended charters for the Cairns Giant Black Marlin Season from September to December.

Adam’s interest for game fishing began 12 years
ago fishing the Newcastle and Port Stephens waters
for black, striped and black marlin. His need to
catch the illusive 1000lb black marlin and the
opportunity 8 years ago to do a trip north to Cairns
for the Giant Black Marlin Season from September to
December got the former rugby league player
hooked on big game fishing! His passion for his new
sport and for boats made the decision for Adam to
purchase the 43ft O’Brien Iona in 2005.

The Iona II likes to utilize the Phoenix One for our clients during the Cairns Giant Black Marlin Season as it offers our guests optimum luxury hotel
style accommodation while still being on the ocean. The Phoenix One is a 114ft luxury motor yacht. The vessel features two VIP staterooms, a
spacious double & twin cabin all with ensuites. The vessel can accommodate 8 guests in luxury overnight. For those who choose to
stay aboard the mothership while other passengers are out fishing the reefs for the giant black marlin there is the opportunity to participate in
water sports activities like jet skiing, water biscuits & ocean kayaks or you may just want to sit back & relax in the heated spa on deck & take in
