esus died on the cross but, just as He’d promised, He ROSE AGAIN on the third day! His tomb is empty! No

other religion can say the same about its leaders, because they are dead and buried. However, when talking about Jesus, even those who are not Christians recognize that He lives. On page 13 and 14, I teach briefly about this great truth, the three types of death that Jesus suffered, and how He was separa-ted from the Father at the time of death. But I also show you how He went from being on the cross to sitting on the throne of the King, which legitimately belongs to Him. The world sees Easter as a mere his-toric act. However, Jesus changed the history of mankind and divided

it into a before Christ (B.C.) and

an after (A.D.). With His resurrec-

tion, He dealt Satan a humiliating,

irreversible, and irrevocable defeat.

We, the church that Jesus founded,

walk in the power of His resurrec-

tion, and are called to preach the

good news of salvation, and to

take His supernatural power to the

world. As a church, we walk in the

power of unity, baptized in prayer,

mobilizing in prayer and fasting,

winning souls, producing finances

for the Kingdom, and demonstra-

ting the supernatural by means of

miracles, signs, and wonders. All

this and more is spoken about in

this edition of The Supernatural Now,

and I encourage you to read it.

Repeat this prayer: Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from You. I believe that Jesus died for me on the cross and that God the Father raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I repent of all my sins and break every covenant made with the world, with my flesh, and with the devil, and I make a new covenant with Jesus. I ask You to come into my heart and change my life. If I were to die right now, when I open my eyes, I know I will be in Your arms—Amen!

In the New Tes-tament,

the word “baptism”

is used in the meaning of com-pletely submerging something, until it

is completely soaked with the substance it

was submerged in. The Bible shows us different types of

baptism: in water, in the Holy Spirit, in fire, and there is also a baptism in prayer.

If you feel you have a good prayer life and don’t need to seek any more of God, it is because you have not received the baptism of prayer. This is a frequent problem in the body of Christ, and one of the reasons why people fall; when they think they already arrived and don’t need to pray any more.

Evidences of the baptism of prayer.

1. Passion and desire to worship

When someone does not worship, it is a sign that the person is not praying. You worship when you live in submission, because to worship is to submit to the will and character of God. Jesus taught us to worship the Father; this is why the Our Father prayer begins and ends with worship.

What is worship?• It is the place where God opens His heart

to the worshiper.

• Worship gives you access to hear the voice of God. His voice is for everyone. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” ( John 10:27).

• It is the place where we have communion with God. When we worship, our only motive is God, and He can trust us more.

• Worship is the place where God reveals Himself.

• It is the place where the heart of man softens and the heart of God opens. There comes a moment in worship where you lose sight; you are no longer aware of yourself, but rather want all of the attention to be on Him. Problems are forgotten because worship takes you to another level.

• Worship is the place where you “meet” God. We can only know God when we have a relationship of intimacy with Him.

• Worship is to be heart to heart and face to face with God. Worship is designed to enter the presence of God and have communion with Him. It is a place where the only thing that matters is God. No one has to tell you to worship. For that reason, the first evidence that you have been baptized in prayer is that you have an intense desire and passion to worship.

2. Spiritual perseverance intensifies

When spiritual perseverance intensifies, two things happen: (1) an attitude of prayer (2) the spirit of prayer. Regardless of where you are, an attitude of prayer and a spirit of continuous adoration. Constancy or spiritual perseverance only come when we are immersed in the baptism of prayer. Let us see this in light of the Scripture:

• Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. —Acts 12:5

• Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, con-tinuing steadfastly in prayer. —Romans 12:12

• Pray without ceasing. —1 Thessalonians 5:17

• Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. —Luke 18:1

The pattern that repeats in the Scripture is praying always, constantly, without ceas-ing, without losing heart. The problem is that us Christians only pray when the rope tightens around our neck; then we go to all the prayer services, but once the problem passes or the persecution ceases, we stop praying. The biggest obstacle is the spirit of this world, which makes Christianity look like something casual. For that rea-son, they casually go to church. The spirit of this world has brought passivity to the people, and has influenced them in such a way that they no longer pray.

When you are deep in prayer, you stay on the edge of what God is saying, but if you allow yourself to be influenced by the spirit of this world, you lose that edge and abandon prayer.

Consistence produces a “moment” in the spirit. With this I am saying that every-thing in life must be constant, until your

“moment” comes. There is a “moment” to minister miracles and that is when break-through comes, the sudden burst of God that pushes us beyond what is holding us back. The enemy wants to stop you, but the power of God removes the limits. Jesus needed many breakthroughs, which is why He never ceased praying.

The most important thing you must learn today is that every territory is won through prayer. If you stop praying, you lose ground. A territory can be your health, marriage, business, job, finances, or what you desire. Your consistency in prayer causes God to give you a territory, and only constant prayer will guard what you have won.

3. The language of prayer changes

We can pray in levels and in dimensions. If you keep praying the same way, you are stagnant; but when you begin to pray in new tongues, everything changes and a new vocabulary comes. When God immerses you in the baptism of prayer, you get up the morning worshiping. Your lan-guage changes, and everyone knows that you’re on another level.

Today I pray for breakthrough over you. Your words have power. God is giving you new dimensions of power, new dimensions of seeking Him, and new dimensions of miracles. But you must cover in prayer every territory you win. Conquer those new territories and do not let them be lost; do not abandon them. Cover them in constant, new, and passionate prayer. Two things will happen when you are baptized in prayer: Everything will accelerate in your life, and God gives you the ability to perceive because you become more sensitive in the spirit.


TESTIMONIESWhat you will read below are summaries of real stories

that testify of the supernatural power of God.

Dekontee tells us that, for 21 years, she had a tumor in her body out of fear of being operated. However, one day Apostle Maldonado called to the altar anyone who said they had a tumor, and she instantly felt panic to go forward. Nevertheless, she says that when Apostle prayed, she received the miracle in her seat. And where before, she could easily feel the tumor, now after the prayer she no longer felt it; it came apart and disappeared. She went to the doctors as soon as possible, who confirmed that the tumor had disappeared. Glory to God!

DEKONTEE | LIBERIATUMOR INSTANTLY DISAPPEARED

Two years ago, a member from Pastor Segovia’s church traveled to Spain and brought him books and preachings from Apostle Maldonado. The pastor tells us that when he put those teachings in practice, miracles started happening in his church. For example, a woman who was 7 months pregnant was told by her doctor to get an abortion because the baby had spinal problems and his feet were not developed. However, after a week of praying and can-celing these words, the same doctor was left in awe, and called other doctors to confirm that the baby was healed. He could only say, “This is supernatural!”

Pastor Reyes testifies that the young man in the picture was stabbed in the heart and was practically dead. He had been in a coma for three days, with no reaction, and the doctors were about to unhook his life support. But Miguel began praying for him, and a few hours later, he woke up and started talking as if nothing had happened. Because of this, gang members are coming to church to give their lives to Jesus, and leaving their weapons on the altar as they begin to serve the Lord.

The first time that Juan came to King Jesus was for CAP 2011. When he went back to Mexico, he was promoted to be one of the directors of the Police Department. He accepted with the condi-tion that he be allowed to pray with the officers each morning. His request was accepted, and since then, many officers have come to the feet of Jesus. That is not all; in his district’s jail, many of the inmates receive Jesus as their Savior, and miracles happen. For example, Juan prayed for an officer who had been in a coma for two months following a stroke, and he was healed and already went back to work.

This young lady of 28 years testifies that ever since the age of 14, doctors diagnosed her with cysts in her ovaries. She says that she had such strong pains during her menstrual cycles that they nearly made her faint, and that the previous year, they caused her an involuntary abortion. However, she says that one Sunday, Apostle Maldonado loosened a word of healing in the church, and she asked God to forgive her sins and heal her. Mi-chelle shares that she then felt a heat spread throughout her body and instantly she was completely healed.

Orlando is a veteran of Afghanistan, and tells us that a bomb exploded near him, causing him to be exposed to certain chemical particles. On the way back to the U.S. he was diagnosed with multiple diseases, and he began suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The doctors said his brain and short-term memory were affected, and he could not learn anything new. It was then that He started to attend King Jesus. He signed up for the University of the Supernatural, stopped taking his medicine as a step of faith, and God healed him during one of Apostle’s classes. His brain was healed and now he is an excellent student of USM.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. —Ephesians 4:1-6

When we speak about unity, the first thing we must understand is that it is supernatural, it is one of the attributes of the character of God, and that it started in heaven. In the Scriptures, we see God manifest in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; but He acts as one, with one mind and one purpose.

The second thing is that it is very difficult to unite people or a leadership with human methods. You can try any type of dynamics in your marriage, home, church, or business, but unity does not last. Just a short time later, everyone will go their own way. For there to be unity, it is necessary that a supernatural grace come upon the ministry. It is needed in order to unite White with Black, Asian, Cuban, Italian, Colombian, Russian, and American; to walk in the same spirit, as a true multicultural church.

In Genesis, when God began creating everything, He speaks in singular person. For example, He says: “Let there be light”, “Let the earth bring forth”, “Let there be a firmament”; but when the Almighty God was about to create the human race, He spoke in plural. In Genesis

1:26 He said: “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness”. When God says, “Let Us make”, it means the Father didn’t do it alone but as a team. If God did it, then why is it so hard for us pastors and ministers to work in unity? As I stated previously, unity is part of the character of God and comes from heaven; it is not natural, but rather supernatural. This means that if you want to bring unity to your discipleship or church, you cannot do so with natural methods.

What is unity?The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines unity as the state of being in harmony or full agreement. It is also a characteristic of every being, which is why it cannot be divided or altered without destroying its very essence. Then it is no longer useful in the purpose for which it was created. For example, water has two components: hydrogen and oxygen. If you remove one of them, water ceases to be, and no longer serves the purpose for which it was created. In the same way, the church of Christ must walk in unity to fulfill its purpose. If the pastor is not heading in the same direction as the evangelist, the apostle, the prophet, and the teacher, the purpose for which these offices were created will go unfulfilled. Jesus Himself constituted the five ministries so that they would work as a team. The evangelist brings the souls, the pastor cares for them, the teacher instructs them, the prophet sees in their spirit, and the apostle rules the church.

What is working in unity?1. Have the same mindset and purpose.Philippians 2:2 says: “Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” Until we renew our minds, we will never work in unity. God always has a better way of doing things. When you see how a group behaves, look at their interests. Do they seek benefit for the individual or for the whole body? Some people refuse to train others because they feel that the person will betray them; but that’s a stunted mindset because when you are in a position, unless someone comes and takes your place, God will not move you. Train others for them to do what you do today. Put your insecurities to the side!

2. Have the same attitude.You and I have the ability to change and transform an atmosphere. There are those who say, “But no one wants to work with me.” Check your attitude. What was the attitude of Christ? It was one of humility, of denying Himself. He put a towel around His waist and washed His disciples’ feet, but many times we carry the attitude that it should be them that wash ours. There are people who have the ap-titude, meaning they are equipped for a task, but they lack the right attitude. Philippians 2:5 says: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” The New Living Translation (NLT) is closest to what the original Greek says: “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” A bad attitude is like a rotten apple; remove from your side those who have a bad attitude, because those corrupt others.

3. Be in the same passion and the same fire.Acts 2:1-2 says: “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” The “suddenlies” of God come when we are all in one accord. If people don’t follow or want to be with you, it is because they don’t see in you any fire or passion. When someone is passionate for what they do, it becomes contagious. It is then that the “suddenlies” come. However, we spend so much time taking care of our own little kingdom that we leave no time for unity. If we are not together in one accord, with the same passion and fire, there won’t be a “suddenly” of God..

4. Have the same language.

Matthew 18:19 says: “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” You will notice that those who are not working in unity have a different language. God has given us an apostolic language; He wants us to come in agreement. The word “agreement” comes from the Greek word “symphonia”, hence the term “symphony”, meaning sound in harmony or to speak the same.

When people do not work in unity, the spirit of independence comes. That was the same spirit that made Adam fall in Eden. The devil came and said “Be independent; you don’t need anyone; you can do it alone.” However, when God created you and me, He placed in us a spirit of agreement. This is the time to mobilize the church, but it must be done in unity.


What’s New?

On March 6 and 7 of 2015, in Vero Beach, FL., the King Jesus International Ministry’s Leadership Retreat took place. They were two intense days, during which the Apostle Guillermo Maldonado taught, imparted and activated the leadership in what God is doing in the year of Jubilee. The first thing he taught is dying to the self, as the key to living in freedom and power. He also spoke on how we need to mobilize the church because Jesus is coming soon, that we must do so with a sense of urgency, and why hell is real. The people must be mobilized in fasting and prayer, winning souls, producing financ-es to the Kingdom, and the supernatural, by signs, wonders, and miracles. In the midst of this busy schedule there was time for fellow-ship, and everyone was able to share quality time. In the end, Apostle Maldonado sent and commissioned the leadership, gave them delegated authority and empowered them to go and occupy new territories.

Appreciation DayOn Thursday, March 12th, King Jesus International ministry dedicated this day to thank their employees for their valuable efforts in the different areas of work they carry out. From their position, each one is helping advance the kingdom to the ends of the earth. Like every morning, the day began in the Temple in prayer. The rest of the day was

dedicated to sharing activities in a beautiful park of Miami, where there were competitions, sports, lunch and lots of fun and great prizes. The occa-sion was timely to present the modernization of our logo, which marks a new direction as a church.


A HEALTHY LIFEBecause God needs you

Is a true church one with an apostle and a prophet? —Axel (Lima, Peru)

No. The apostles and prophets, just like the pastors, evangelists, and teachers, are part of the five ministries lifted up by Jesus (Ephesians 4:11). The true church is not a place, a temple, or even an organi-zation, but is a living organism (a body) established by Christ (Matthew 16:18). It is a place where the believers gather to worship, praise, and be instructed in the sound doctrine of the Word of God. The Bible contains many teachings about the characteristics of a healthy and vibrant church, and about the need for Christians to come together. Some Scriptures that can help you are: Acts 2:42, 44-47; Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.

The best advice is: seek the face of God today, without looking at the clock! The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). In truth, God is pleased in hearing our prayers throughout the day. Prayer is to remain in con-stant communication with our heavenly Father (Luke 18:1), not just before eating or sleeping, or in difficult times (Psalms 55:16). Paul teaches us to always pray (Romans 1:9). Make sure that nothing interferes your prayers (Isaiah 59:1-2), so if you have unforgiveness towards someone, first make yourself accountable to that person and to God, and make forgiveness a lifestyle. Pray persistently (Luke 18:1-8), and trust you will receive an answer (1 John 5:14-15).

There comes a time in everyone’s life where they need to eat healthier and when it does, the majority attempt to count calories by using the nutri-tion facts found on packaged food. Though keeping track of calories is important, what many don’t pay atten-tion to is the amount of sodium intake per meal.

Sodium is an element that is found in salt and most sauces, canned products, and restaurant food. Most people eat an average of about 3,300 mg per day, though the recommended amount is about 2,000 mg per day. To give you an idea, a small spoonful of salt contains

about 2,300 mg of sodium.

Excess sodium can cause a number of problems to one’s health, such as high blood pressure, which forces the heart to work harder, damaging the blood vessels and organs, and increasing the risk of kidney disease, and even strokes.

When we are looking at a product’s nutrition label, we must keep in mind that the numbers listed are based on one serving, and eating more than one serving is to consume more than what is listed, possibly even doubling the amount.

Next time you sit down for a meal, make sure to not only count your calories but also check the amount of Sodium you intake.

Most people speak about the resurrection of Jesus Christ as if it was a tradition or a simple historical act. Even the Church lacks a greater revelation of the topic, which is why they see it as an event of the past. However, today we will learn an essential biblical truth that is producing extraordinary changes in the lives of many. This truth is that Jesus reigns in the power of the resurrection, and that through Him, we can rule in the same power that raised Him from the dead.

The resurrection of Jesus makes Christian-ity unique. The followers of other religions know that their leaders are dead and buried; however, they themselves recognize that Jesus was resurrected. We also know that the power of the resurrection is still active. He continues saving, healing, deliv-ering, and performing miracles anywhere His name is preached.

In the Bible, we find various passages that speak about people who died and were raised again. For example, the son of the widow of Nain (Luke 7:11–16) and Lazarus (John 11:38–44), but their reac-tions were different to that of Jesus’. They died as sinners and were raised from death with the same sinful nature. Moreover,

they died again and will remain dead until the return of Jesus. On the other hand, Jesus lived a life completely free of sin, and after He died while taking all of mankind’s sin upon Himself, He was gloriously raised from the dead, without sin. He continues living today—and forever—to give life to those who believe in Him.

When He died, Jesus was separated from GodJesus suffered three types of death: Phys-ical Death (Luke 23:46); Spiritual Death, meaning Jesus’ communion with the Fa-ther was completely cut because of sin (2 Cor. 5:21); and the Second Death, which is the eternal separation from the presence of God (Rev. 20:11-15).

Jesus spent three days and three nights in hell (Psa. 88:4-9). During that time, He was counted among the dead, ripped out of the presence of God, and send to the deepest abyss of hell. The wrath of God was turned against Him because He car-ried upon Himself all of the sin of man-kind. He walked in hell in the middle of darkness, suffering oppression, slavery and punishment for us. But on the third day, something happened in hell. Never before had such a thunderous roar been heard. Jesus was raised by the Holy Spirit!

The King has risenThrough His resurrection, Jesus validated His divine nature, kingdom and dominion over the kingdom of Satan. The resurrection is not a legend. It is an event that established a “before” and “after” in the history of mankind. It drew a line between the dominion of Satan on earth, and the eternal reign of Christ. This opened a new time in which human beings were freed from the bond-age of Satan and we become children of God.

The word resurrect indicates to “rise”, “awaken from death” or “return to life”. Jesus experienced the resurrection in two different ways:

1. Jesus was made alive in His spirit.

The Bible says that:

• [Jesus was] put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit (1 Pe. 3:18). This verse states that His spirit was given life by the Holy Spirit, even before His physical body was raised from the dead.

• [By His Spirit]… the gospel was preached also to those who are dead (1 Pe. 4:6).

• [Jesus also]… went and preached to the spirits in prison (1 Pe. 3:19).

2. Jesus was raised in His physical body. His Spirit entered His body and God gave Him life. When Christ overcame death, He restored our relationship with God; He returned us to His presence, and seated us in heavenly places (Eph. 2: 6) to reign and rule with Him, thus establishing the life of resurrection in our mortal bodies.

From the cross to the throne of the KingOnly when we have revelation of the resurrection can we receive the benefits of the cross:

1. The cross demonstrates the love of God, but the resurrection of Jesus demonstrates His power.

2. His death is a historical fact, but His resurrection is an act of faith that comes by revelation. His tomb is empty!

3. He saved us through the cross, but when He rose again He gave us power.

4. The resurrection is the foundation of Christianity. If Christ had not risen, Chris-tianity would be a dead religion, like any other.

5. Jesus was resurrected from the dead. His resurrection was confirmed by witnesses who followed him from Galilee to Jerusa-lem. Others resurrected but died again; Jesus destroyed “him who had the power of death …” (Heb. 2:14).

6. The outpouring of the Spirit is the con-tinuation of the power of the resurrection.

The resurrection of Jesus is a demonstra-tion of the humiliating defeat that Satan suffered. The Bible says that, “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Col. 2:15).

For that reason, every time we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we remind Satan that we will not continue to live under a curse. You have been saved, healed, pros-pered and delivered by the power of the resurrection of Jesus! The King is alive! He lives forever!

In your womb is the victory. My Lord Jesus came from the womb of a woman. He came as He came as a human and experienced the desires and needs of humanity; but He overcame the weaknesses of humanity. He descended into the womb of death and Hades, and also overcame. Church, today, we must grab a hold of this victory; we have to “give birth” to victory. The defeat of Satan was consummated over two thousand years ago; the powers and principalities of hell were annihilated forever by Jesus. Death and Hades will not prevail against us or our generations. Because Jesus overcame, we are more than conquerors in Christ. Now, place your hand over your womb and begin to de-clare that the blood of Jesus delivers us, heals us, and gives us the victory. That victory is for you and your family. Right now, receive the power of the resurrection of Christ, and walk in the blessing the rest of your days!

See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me. —Isaiah 49:16

Lord, bring an awakening to this church, bring an awakening to the daughter churches, and to the ones under the covering of this house. Bring a shaking to the body of Christ. Lord, today I ask that since the dawn break, You begin to shake the earth by its ends. The Church needs to be shaken, Your people need to be shaken. You said we are shaped in the palm of Your hand, wanting to show the care You have for Your people. And that prophecy has been recorded in heaven and is fulfilled every day. Your Church is inscribed in the palm of Your hand. You are the one who brought us out of the captivity of this world, prospered us in the middle of the desert, and redeemed us at the cost of Your blood. Today, by the power of Your love, by the power of the cross, by the power of the resurrection of Jesus, we cry out for Your Church. Remove every weight that entangles us because of the cares of life. We are inscribed in the palm of Your hand!
