Fast, Fun Florida

Last year my family went to

Florida. It was a very long trip and I

was sad to leave. We had seven

days of fun.

The thing I liked the best was

Medieval Times. We saw a lot of

knights fighting for the princess,

though my favorite lost. The knight

also had an enemy we called the

Black and White Knight.

The most enjoyable part was

when I went to the beach. It was a

really fun trip, because we got to go

swimming and jump the waves. The

water was cold but it got warmer.

The seven days just went by

really fast. It was a lot of fun

though it was pretty short. I will

always remember my fast, fun

Florida trip.

Smoky Mountains Adventure

Two years ago my family went

to the Smoky Mountains. We had a

lot of fun, but it was a little hot.

The Smoky Mountains are fun!

The most exciting thing was

when we saw a mama bear with a

cub! We liked the bear, but some

people got a little too close. The

mama bear was beautiful, but the

cub was cuter!

The most interesting thing was

when we got to ride horses.

Everyone got to ride horses and we

all got our own. It was a lot of fun!

The horses were amazing. That

was my first time riding a horse and

it was fun. I will never forget that

time we went to the Smokies.

When We Went to Mammoth Cave

It took us eight hours to get to Mammoth

Cave. We got to the Mammoth Cave Hotel

and my mom signed us in. My dad found our

room and we got settled in.

The next day it took us thirty minutes to

get to the Cave. The tour guide showed us

through and we went to the most difficult

part. It was one foot wide and five feet high.

We had to crawl!

After Mammoth Cave we went back to

our hotel. We started packing because it was

time to go home. We put the suitcases in the

car and jumped inside.

My dad tried to back up the car. The

car wouldn’t move because it had a flat tire.

My dad went down the street, got an air

pump, filled it up and we drove to a car shop.

We fixed the tire. We left for home and

drove all day and night. I was so glad to get

home!!

Boy and Mom in the Big City

When I was six or five I went to

Chicago. I was carsick, but I

couldn’t wait to get there. It took

two hours to get there.

The exciting thing was when we

went to the Lego mall. I wanted

Lego City, but I got Lego Star Wars.

It was called the X-wing.

Another exciting thing was when

we went to the zoo. The alligators

were cool, but the monkeys were

cooler. We saw lots of animals.

The last few days were bad. My

Lego set broke and I was really sad.

It was snowy and windy, but I will

never forget the day I went to

Chicago.

Mysteries on Mackinac!

This summer my family and I

went to Mackinac. That’s in

Michigan, but it’s a very long drive!

It took about seven hours.

The most exciting thing was

Skull Cave. It was called Skull Cave

because there were old skulls there.

The cave was fascinating.

The scariest thing that happened

was when we were up on a two-

story hotel. I almost pushed my

brother Joe off the hotel. My

brother Jack said that he would have

caught him before he would have

fallen.

Those three days were very fun.

I will never forget when I almost

lost my ball in Lake Michigan, but

my brother Jack saved it. I hope we

can go back to Mackinac Island!

Florida Adventures!

Two years ago I went to Florida

with my family. I went on a roller

coaster and it was so scary! I

wanted to go again.

My favorite thing was when I

went to the pool. I went down a big

slide and then splashed in the water.

I got water up my nose.

We also went to Disney World. I

got a wand and my brother got a

sword. I played with them all the

way home.

I miss those days that I went on

water rides. I liked the dinosaur

ride the best, and I will never forget

the day I went to Florida. Next time

I hope it doesn’t rain.

New York Fun

About ten months ago I went to

New York. It was fun and we went

for three weeks. I also went to a

camp.

The most fun thing at camp was

when we went ice skating. My

brother said it was fun though he

kept falling. He got a bar to help

him skate.

The funniest thing that happened

was when a counselor did a hockey

stop in front of somebody. It was

funny though it was very scary! It

looked like he was going to trample

us!

On the way home there was a

tornado warning! We stopped at

McDonald’s, even though we were

almost home. After the tornado we

got back home.

Killer California

Last year I went to California. It

was a great trip though it was short.

I even got to meet my mom and

dad’s friends.

We got to catch black crabs and

purple star fish. I caught ten crabs,

and I did not get pinched! It was

easier catching hermit crabs.

The scariest thing was when we

went scuba diving. It was fun

though we got chased by sharks.

We caught a baby shark.

I miss Tooth. Purple was mean

though I still miss her. I also miss

those crabs.

Chicago Adventures

Over the summer I went to Chicago.

My grandma, aunt, and cousin came

from California to see us, so they came,

too. It was a long time to get there, but

it was worth it.

The most exciting thing that

happened was when I got to see the

lighthouse. My cousin and brother got

to see it, too. We looked out of a

telescope. We saw seagulls and some

ducks.

The funniest thing that happened

was when my brother saw ducks

perfectly. He thought he needed to see

it in the telescope when they were right

there.

I love Chicago so much. I wish the

trip was longer and I hope we go next

year. At the end of the end of the day

was hot so we had dip and dots.

My Family Goes West

Last summer my family and I

went to California. We had so much

fun though it was very long. We

went through nine different states.

The most fun part was when we

went to Universal Studios. We saw

what they did to make the movies,

but it was a very long walk. We

saw most of their big movie sets.

The most challenging thing was

mountain climbing. I went up six

different mountains. My dad mostly

blinged me, but the counselor did it

sometimes. The last wall I went on

was the highest and steepest.

Going through nine states was

long and fun. We got to do so many

things and we walked so much. I

loved that trip, but everything must

come to an end.

Fun Time at Six Flags!

Last year my family and I went

to Six Flags. We went to Six Flags

because we had to visit my cousin,

aunt and uncle for our spring break.

The hotel was very fun.

At the hotel we had eggs and

bacon. Although the bacon was

burnt and the eggs were cold, I ate

anyways. They didn’t taste so

good. After eating all those things I

threw up. It was bad at first then it

became better.

After those weeks were up, we

had to go home. I will never forget

the time I went to Six Flags!

Day at Disney World

One year ago I went to Disney

World with my family. It was a long

trip, but it was worth it. We got to

swim, go on boat rides, water slides,

and roller coasters!

The next day we went on a new

water roller coaster! It was scary,

but fun. I thought I was going to fall

out of the seat of the car.

The scariest ride was

Expedition Everest. The ride turned

upside down and backwards! The

best part of Expedition Everest was

when we went down an eighty-foot

mountain side!

Although we only had a week to

adventure we had a lot of fun.

The Trip to Arizona

My family and I were going to

Arizona. There were too many of

us and I had to go in the back.

When I got there, I saw my grandma

and grandpa.

I went to a water park. There

was a water pad and pool. The

water pad was cold but the pool was

hot.

Another thing that happened was

I saw a bird’s nest on a cactus.

There was a little hole on top of the

cactus and the nest was inside. The

bird wasn’t, but I think I saw an egg.

Now all my fun flew by. I said

bye to my grandparents and friends.

When I said goodbye, I went back

home.

Niagara Falls is Fun

I went to Canada in August for

my birthday. It was fun because our

parents were taking turns driving.

We were sleeping then we got up

and I ate a cake.

The most exciting thing was the

dolphin show. It was quite funny

because the fat seal said, “No!” and

would not go in the water. The fat

seal said, “Yes!” to eating food.

When the show was over, we

went to our cousin’s house. We

stayed only one night and got to

watch a movie. We left late and got

home the next day.

Disney World

Two years ago my family and I went

to Disney World. We went because it

was my birthday. It was fun.

The most exciting ride is the

Rockin’ Roller Coaster. I like it

because we got to go upside down

twice. It makes me feel great!

We also went on a train. We went

in a cave and there was lava under it. It

looked real, but it wasn’t. Ken and I

went into a car. We went fast or slow.

It is so great I will like to go on it again.

There is also a ride called the

Haunted Mansion. That gave me goose

bumps. I couldn’t sleep that night. I

love the rides except the Haunted

Mansion and the Haunted House. That

was the trip to Disney World.

Fun in the City!

Last year I went to the city with

my mom. We went to the American

Girl shop, but it was too crowded. It

was so much fun.

I saw very cool buildings. Some

of the buildings were cool, some

were not. The cool buildings had

lights all over. The buildings that

were not cool buildings had dark all

over.

The scariest thing was when my

mom almost lost me. It was scary

because I didn’t know where she

went. I found her.

The last day, I went to dinner

with my mom’s friend. We had so

much fun, but we only had one more

day. On the way home, we stopped

for ice cream.

The Park of Adventure

Last year I went to Minneapolis.

There was a park and it had a lot of

Nickelodeon character rides. It was a

lot of fun.

The most exciting thing was when I

went on a ride that went slow then

suddenly it went really fast. I thought it

would go slow the whole ride, but then

it went really fast. After the ride, my

feet felt weird.

The most interesting thing was

when I looked into some water under a

ride and there were dimes, quarters,

nickels, and pennies. I was going to

take one, but I decided not to. My mom

was looking.

The last thing we did was go and

watch a movie in a movie theater near

the park. We watched “Rango” and it

was very fun. After that we drove home

and the trip was the best trip I’ve been

on until now.

My Fun Myrtle Beach

Last year, my family and I went

to fun Myrtle Beach. We stayed

there for two weeks and I got to go

on a lot of rides. I had a blast.

My favorite thing was when I

went on the giant zip line. The zip

line was fun, but it was not long

enough. We went for three minutes.

The scariest thing was when I

got stung by a jellyfish. I went to

the lifeguard and he put spray on

my foot. It stopped hurting after

twenty minutes.

I loved going on the giant zip

line. I had a great time swimming in

the ocean, and I loved finding

animals in the water. I will never

forget the time I went on the trip to

Myrtle Beach.

Florida Fun

This year my family and I went

to stay in a condo near the beach.

The ride was very long, but it was

worth it. I was excited when we got

to Florida!

The thing I liked the most was

when we went deep-sea fishing. I

caught three ruby-red fish but they

were too small. I used squid for bait!

Another exciting thing that

happened was I got two hermit

crabs! I named them Will and Ben.

They were very fun to play with.

The week was so fun! I wished

I would never leave, but I did leave.

I will never forget the fun I had in

Florida.

Sunny San Francisco

For summer vacation, most of

my family went to San Francisco. It

was fun, but I thought about my

sister the whole time. She had gone

to Chicago instead. My favorite part

was when we finally got there. It

was really good and I was happy

that we got there. It was fun.

It was a fun trip to Chicago to

pick up my sister. When we got

there she was at camp. I will never

forget our trip to sunny San

Francisco.

Camp Oak Fun Adventures

Last summer I went to camp.

It was super fun when I went on

a one-mile hike! I thought it would

be easy, but I kept on running out of

breath! I nearly passed out!

When we were done, we went

back to the trailer. We had beans

for supper.

Amazing Arizona

I was going to Arizona! We

went to the airport and got on a

plane. It was midnight by the time

we got there.

We went to our hotel. Since I

was so tired I fell asleep. I woke up

the next morning and ate muffins.

The most exciting part was

when we went to a cowboy rodeo.

They had real guns, but they were

professionals. One even called me

Cutie.

I think the trip was too short.

But it was fun and that’s what

counts. I hope I go there again.

Trip to Disney

I went to Disney World with my

family. I liked Small World and the

Teacups. We didn’t meet Alice, but

I got to see her in the parade.

Dazzling Disneyland

Three years ago, I went to

Disneyland. We had to go in since it

was raining. The rain stopped 30

minutes after we got in.

When we got in we went to the

pool. When we got out of the pool

we went on a ride. We were

screaming because the ride was

very fast. It was the best part.

The most scary part was when

mom said, “Good job!” But, I didn’t

like the ride. I thought the ride was

too fast.

The time flew by fast. We didn’t

know what we should do since we

went on every ride. We finally saw

a ride we had never been on. That

was the last ride of our trip.
