THE TAURANTUS SECTORTarasa PrimeWell known as the recreaonal planet, Tarasa hosts Rogue Traders from light years around. Fishing, walks

and many other tastes of relaxaon are available for all.

Delta 9This is the capital of sub-sector Crabus and home to the Adeptus Librarius a huge library containing books,

scrolls and datatomes from across the galaxy. While there are sectors open to the public, most of it is deep

beneath the cies hiding important or even dangerous documents. The wide spread cies and huge spires are

home to many nobles and dignitaries.

Elef StaonProbably the only decent ship staon in the sector and good by anyones standards, Ele Staon is well known

for repairs and upgrades without risking trouble with the authories.

Drexa UlmarisAbout 40 years ago, the planet was an agri-world known as the Taurantus Bread Basket. Since, inter-sector

food imports have increased over 100 fold and an Inquisitorial Quaranne has been erected. It is rumoured that

psychic acvity has rendered the planet in eternal darkness.

Smara XIIThis large moon is home to a sizable populaon. Smara itself has been gone for millennia - lost presumably for

the rest of me. Smara XII sll obits the space once occupied by its planet and in turn orbits the star Smara

orbited.

DijaeOne of the four forge worlds in the sector, Dijae is the largest manufacturer of ship components this side of the

galaxy. It supplies Ele Staon and its sistered planet Drunu along with many out sector systems.

IfDuring the Tyrannic Wars in the Ulmar System a splinter eet of tyranids made their way through the

Taurantus Sector straight to I. The planet was a desert wasteland then but the mystery regarding why they

invaded this planet and ignored the others remains. It is not known if they got what they came for as the

combined military might of the sector and draed-in troops eradicated the eet before the enre planet was

scoured.

This planet is another of the forge worlds in the sector. It specialises in ammunion for plasma, melta and

ame weapons. The red glow from beneath the surface comes from natural furnaces that show through the

occasionally transparent crust.

TessiThe loyalty of this world on the edge of the sector has long been disputed by the neighbouring Dichronos

Sector. Many think the brown landscape is a result of dust or sand but in fact it is the indigenous ora that use

a dark brown pigment to perform an unfamiliar form of photosynthesis.

WeayoAlthough a major manufacturer of servitors and other working menial machines of the Imperium, Weayo

stockpiles lots of dierent armour types. Probably as a result of long forged es with armour manufactories

that sll deliver a the.

OstaitWhen the founder of the Taurantus Sector rst arrived, he devised the plans to form the foundaons of the

sector. One of his designs was a planet covered in water. Ostait is not the original name (now lost to history)

but is the word referring to the planet of cool water, ice and crystal-clear promethium.

PooceResembling ancient Terra, Pooce is reserved for the rich and occasionally deserving to relax and recuperate

aer trading or ghng.

DrafUnl the Great Crusade, life never reached Dra and the hosle condions clearly want to keep it that way.

XeintA small planet of temperate climates. Xeint has hosted many wars but has suered lile scaring and holds lile

evidence of these conicts other than scaered wrien accounts.

KluorgThis large planet has a remarkably strong gravitaonal eld equal to about 100,000 mes that of Terra. So

many starships have fallen prey to the gravity eld that a permanent astropathic beacon was founded to act as

a lighthouse of sorts. The few transports that enter or leave low orbit must take extra care as the handful of

moons orbing Kluorg should not be le out of sight. It takes less than one standard hour for them to complete

an orbit of the planet.

Plete used to orbit Kluorg albeit from a distance of over 10 light years. Now, caught by the gravity of the

Scorpions Eye it has seled in an almost staonary posion around 300 light minutes from the nearest star. The

icy nature of the surface was born out of the collapse of the planets core and mantle and the ancient human

arcial structure that held Plete together.

The Scorpions EyeOriginally thought to be a warp storm, the surrounding systems were evacuated with haste. But no horrible

dreams were dreamt and no Daemonic beings emerged to wreak havoc in the mortal plain. Instead it seemed

to bring peace to much of the Sector. Within weeks of the Eye opening new trade routes were opened; Plete

ceased its chaoc orbit and Tarasa Prime had its rst bounful harvest (and has connued to have such

agricultural success). Furthermore, the Scorpions Eye is rumoured to completely aen most psychic signals

that travel through or around it. All systems in the area can sll communicate with Astropaths but oensive or

physical magics always fail to manifest. For this reason many cults have developed in respect or worship of the

Eye as a manifestaon of the Emperors divine will.
