SOCIAL WORK

I. EBUILDER GROUP

Ebuilder group of Computer Engineering and

Information Technology students educate and provide

basic computer and hardware knowledge to the rural

area school students.

In this semester Ebuilder group visited rural area school

at Thalner village and provided basic computer and

hardware knowledge. Apart from this as a social duty

Ebuilder group also offered school uniform to all the

students.

II.BHARAT SWACCHATA ABHIYAN

Bharat Swachhata Abhiyan was organized by the

student and the staff of the Computer Engineering and

Information Technology at Bhabhulade village.

ALUMNI INTERACTION PROGRAMME

Alumni interaction session was held with Principal

Dr. J.B.Patil, HODs & TPO on 24th Jan. 2015.

This meet was planned as part of feedback from

the alumni regarding overall development of

students, policies for upcoming graduates,

employability challenge of pass out students &

strategy to solve this problem. Palak Agrawal

(TCS),Puja Agrawal (Acceture),Hitesh Patil (L&T),

Uday Sonar (PTC) and Harshal Bagul (TCS)

these alumna interacted with students.

IIT WORKSHOP

TROUGH CENTER FOR DISTANCE ENGINERRING EDUCATION PROGRAM

I. CONTROL SYSTEM

An important initiative has been undertaken by IIT

Bombay to work with Engineering Colleges across the

country for enhancing the teaching skills of faculty peers

in core engineering and science subjects. This initiative

is a part of the National Mission on Education through

ICT, supported by MHRD.

Under this initiative, IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur

organized 2 Week ISTE workshop on “Control system”.

The workshop was organized on 2nd - 12th Dec. 2014. This

workshop was conducted at various remote centers across

the country and R. C. Patel institute of Technology is one of

them.

50 participants successfully completed workshop on

“control system” organized at RCPIT, Shirpur.

II. PEDAGOGY FOR EFFECTIVE USE OF ICT IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION

IIT Workshop on “Pedagogy for Effective use of ICT in

Engineering Education” was conducted by IIT Bombay

and organized by RCPIT, Shirpur on 05th - 07th January

and 19t h- 21st Jan. 2015.

practical oriented electronic workshop on “Industrial

The objective of “Industrial Approaches in Electronics

workshop” was to make students skillful in practical,

projects and for industrial jobs by improving the

knowledge of various components. Workshop was aimed

to improve the capability to use components for various

applications and minimize the gap between education

and industry.

II. OPPORTUNITIES IN IT SECTOR

Seminar on “Opportunities in IT sector” was conducted by

R. C. Patel Institute of Technology on 24th Jan. 2015. Mr.

Neeraj Ade representative of Profound Edutech Pvt Ltd,

Pune was the resource person for the seminar.

The core objective of seminar was to create awareness

among the students of SE and TE from stream of Non IT

& IT about career scope and job opportunities in IT sector

after acquiring technical skills set which demanded by

industry. This seminar was attended by around 200

students in different time slot.
