The wolf walkedaround the house searching forsome to enter. Using a very longladder he climbed to the roof, tosneak in by the chimney. 8. But the older pig put onthe fire a pot of water. Thehungry wolf went downinside the chimney but hefell on the boiling waterand scalded himself. 9. He escaped from there giving terrible howls that wereheard in all the forest.
