Welcome to The Tree of Health Center’s (TTOHC) 2016 Spring catalog! As we continue our work toward changing the dialog around natural healthcare, we are delighted to embrace so many of you who are joining us on this journey toward universal balance and peace.

Our goal is to serve you in your personal and professional growth. Within these pages you will find a variety of classes and services that may be just the right fit for you and your loved ones. Here you will find many roads to wellness, including how to heal yourself, ways to release old trauma blocking you from your best life, and opportunities to peek into the future to see what changes you can make now in order to thrive. If there is something you don’t see within these pages that you would like to see offered at TTOHC, we encourage you to please let us know.

What often gets lost in the world of healthcare is the simple act of listening. All of us at TTOHC are very aware of the healing power in simply listening. This is where we learn who you are in this moment. And it is from this place that we begin, together, to help you along your path of wellness, growth and enlightenment.

This regular open clinic welcomes anyone who wishes to release the fear from past trauma in their lives. It is a shared group where everyone will work together to release one piece of their trauma at a time

The Masculine / Feminine of the Second Chakra

The Second Chakra contains our Male/Female Energy center and participants will learn if they are in balance or leaning too heavily in

one direction. They will then be given suggestions to bring the opposing forces back into balance.

Understanding Crystals

Date: July 13Time: 6:30 to 9:00 pm

This four-part class series will help you deepen your awareness and understanding of crystals, and learn how to use them in everyday life. The first class begins with learning how crystals form. Each succeeding class will build upon this basic insight through the last class where students will learn how to effectively use crystals during meditation.

Certifications

Traditional Usui Reiki I

This three-day training is the first step in Reiki Healing Mastery. It includes a lecture explaining different hand positions and a discussion session. All students will participate in a hands-on workshop where brief and full treatment sessions are introduced.

This class includes:• Reiki history• Reiki principles• The seven essential chakras• Essential meditations to become one with Reiki• The Reiki hand positions for full and brief treatment sessions• Self-healing• Individual attunement• Basic workshop for giving and receiving a complete Reiki session

All Reiki I students must attend full workshops, and prove their proficiency on one of their clients before they will be recognized as Reiki I Practitioners. 18 CEU credits can be applied.

Traditional Usui Reiki II

Prerequisite: Students must be recognized as Reiki I practitioners.

This three-day training is the second step in Reiki Healing Mastery. The training is a combination of a lecture explaining the advanced Reiki symbol and a discussion session. All students will give a full treatment and distant healing session.

The class includes:• Becoming one with Reiki• Individual Reiki II attunement• Memorizing and practicing the symbol• Workshop for giving and receiving a complete Reiki Treatment• Workshop for distant healing

All Reiki II students must attend full workshops, and prove their hands-on and distance healing proficiency on two of their clients before they will be recognized as Reiki II Practitioners. 18 CEU credits can be applied.

Date: March 25, October 7Investment: $300

Reiki Certifications with Linda Mitchell

Traditional Usui Master

Prerequisite: Students must be recognized as Reiki I and Reiki II practitioners.

This three-day training is the third step in Reiki Healing Mastery. It is when a practitioner becomes a Master. This class is divided into two segments.

First, Eastern Reiki Mastery, where students learn how to become one with Reiki. Second is Western Reiki Mastery. Students will learn different healing hand position techniques for various ailments. Meridians are used as general guidelines.

The training combines a lecture and a discussion session. Students will learn the Usui Master symbol and attunement procedures. All students will give a full treatment using all the Reiki symbols and a distant healing session.

This class includes:• Spiritual balancing of a Reiki Master• Meditation to receive the Reiki Master attunement• Reiki Master attunement• Memorizing and practicing the symbol• Proper procedure for giving Reiki attunements• Workshop for giving and receiving a complete Reiki Treatment utilizing all the Reiki

symbols including special treatments for different ailments

All Reiki Masters must attend full workshops, and must prove their total treatment proficiency on three clients under Linda Mitchell’s supervision. All Reiki Masters must attend two attunement sessions performed by Linda Mitchell before they will be recognized and certified as Reiki Masters. 18 CEU credits can be applied.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT offers gentle desensitizing techniques to release specific traumatic issues. This removes the blocks that keep you from enjoying your life. Somatic Energy Release

A therapeutic process that helps rid the mind and body of residual effects of past trauma. Often times the body will hold information that has followed a trauma. This information is known as an "energy cyst." A session will help the client to physically identify and expel the energy cyst.

UniversalH E A L T H F A I R

The Tree of Health Center's (TTOHC) second annual Universal Health Fair (UHF) has branched out! Last September we held our first event on the Newton "Green" after receiving approval from the state. This year we wanted to expand the fair from the "Green" all the way down Spring Street to the Newton Theater.

After meeting with the Newton Town Council, we received a unanimous vote and blessings from the town council members. In support of the fair, it was their hope that this will bridge the gap between town and state, while supporting Newton town merchants and offering a fun and educational event for our community.

Newton is the county seat of Sussex County, which was established in 1753 and named after historic County Sussex, England. As the county seat, Newton holds the space for many non-profit governmental services that support our Sussex County community. The Newton Town

Council has been busy working toward beautifying the town with its cobblestone pathways, and continuing its efforts to keep Newton pedestrians safe with signs to keep both drivers and pedestrians alert.

TTOHC is proud to bring this year's UHF to the glorious town of Newton! It is our hope that you will enjoy the vast variety of entertainers, healthcare practices and medicine, and cultural cuisine from around the world. A FREE and FUN event for ALL ages!

5-Minute Hand Exercise to Boost Energy & Balance Emotions

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Japanese form of touch therapy that you can perform on yourself to help balance your energy and emotions through stimulating the meridians in your hands.

The technique is simple, and can be done anywhere:• Each finger is connected to different organs and emotions / attitudes. Check the chart and decide whether to focus on one area of

1) Internships:

Interning with The Tree of Health Center will be a unique experience for qualified candidates. You will gain knowledge and a whole lot of experience! You must be a team player, or at least be willing to learn how to work, and play well together.

2) Volunteering:

The Tree of Health Center is leading a paradigm shift where natural medicine and spiritual development come first. Help us create excitement for the community through education and empowerment. Our volunteers assist in virtually every area of the Center, including class registration, event coordination, reception, marketing, calendar preparation and wellness services.

We are looking for self-motivated interns and volunteers who have the following qualities:

Internships & volunteering require a higher level of involvement and responsibility, usually 8 to 20 hours a week for a minimum of three months.
