I. The Announcements from Heaven

A. The announcem

ent of 3rd woe .

(Rev 8:12-13) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the

moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud

voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to

sound!

NOTES

The 1st 4 trumpets are directed against the things of Nature.• The vegetation (trees)• The sea (Whales, Seals )• The rivers (water and fish ) • The Earths light sources

The last 3 trumpets are directed against Man • The attack of the locusts

B. The announcement of the Heavenly voice .

(Rev 11:14-15) The second woe is past; and, behold, the

third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded;

and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The

kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our

Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

(Rev 10:7) But in the days of the voice of the seventh

angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he

hath declared to his servants the prophets.

(1Pe 1:10-11) Of which salvation the prophets have

enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come

unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit

of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of

Christ, and the glory that should follow.

(1Ti 3:16) And without controversy great is the

mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,

believed on in the world, received up into glory.

II. The Arrival of the Kingdom

There is a lot of people how think we will usher in a kingdom and then Christ will return.

Problems with that view.

Are the kingdoms of this world right now Christ’s?

(Mat 4:8-10) Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto

him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus

unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt

worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

(Isa 9:6-7) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall

be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and

peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon

his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with

justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts

will perform this.
