After meeting your pilot at Elementsof Byron reception, the first part

of your scenic flight treks north to

Wollumbin (Mount Warning). The Byron region sits on the south-eastern perimeter of a now-extinct huge volcano. Its central magmaplug is Mount Warning - the largest caldera in the southern hemisphere.

From Mt Warning you’ll fly south and

meet the coastline at Brunswick Heads, continuing on towards Cape Byron and its iconic Lighthouse. From there you’ll witness the majestic expanse of Tallow Beach, the hidden rainforest-rimmed coastal alcoves of Broken Head and then you fly close to the vast untamed

sweeps of Lennox Head.

From here you’ll head west and the waves of ocean become undulating waves of nut plantations – macadamias and pecans.

This sets the mood for lunch. You then stop for a unhurried lunch at the beautiful Eltham Valley Pantry in Byron’s Hinterland before a leisurely flight back to Elements of Byron for a

relaxing afternoon swim.
