SlideLine sliding door fitting from Hettich gives you a system that makes it easy for manufacturers to produce sliding door appli-cations for every furniture segment. Providing solutions for wooden, glass and aluminium frame doors, SlideLine is extremely easy to install and use. At the same time, any sliding door unit that uses SlideLine adds a feel of luxury because running action is particularly smooth and quiet.

This not only enables us to improve our envi-ronmental performance on a broad front but also achieve a high level of safety which, not least, also benefits our customers. This is why we also require our suppliers to meet the necessary mini-mum standards of environmental protection, industrial safety, health care and social welfare.The results achieved in the drawer-runner and drawer-system product segment at the Kirchlengern operation illustrate the impressive effects these measures have and verifiably demon-strate our tireless endeavours to translate words into action:

The SlideLine sliding door system is constantly monitored for quality. This also includes taking account of the varying quality standards de-manded by different markets and segments. The diagrams below show examples of some of the testing processes and what they involve.

Life cycle test The door must withstand a defined number of opening and closing cycles at a defined velocity.

Lift-out testThe door is pulled up and forwards at an angle with a defined force and must neither come off or fall out of the cabinet.

Quality criteria

· Life cycle test over 40,000 cycles

· Closing test with a tensile load of 4 kg

· Lift-out test with 250 N

· Load test in horizontal direction with 250 N

With inset doors, the closing test may exert additional strain on the cabinet sides. Cabinet construction must be designed to withstand this.

Closing testThe door is required to withstand a specific number of closing cycles performed under a defined tensile load.

Horizontal safety testPressure is applied to the middle of the door with a defined force. The door must neither come off or fall out of the cabinet.

The convenient gateway that quickly pays dividends

SlideLine 55 Plus is the ideal sliding door system that offers practical convenience from installation and installation to every- day use. The running profile of the two-track fitting is mounted in the unit's bottom panel, the guiding profile in the top panel.

Mounted by machine in industrial production, the runnings and guidings are designed for pressing in, fitted manually by cabinet-makers they are screwed into place.

Doors can be aligned by +/- 1.5 mm at a thumbwheel without the need for tools and are held shut by a self-closing mechanism. A spacer prevents damage to handles when doors are opened. With SlideLine 55 Plus, you reap the rewards straight away.

A specially designed latch in the guiding component even makes the cabinet resistant to theft. The SlideLine 55 Plus system pro-vides all of these benefits at the best possible value for money.

Simple system for exacting demands –SlideLine 56

The SlideLine 56 sliding door system is suitable for universal application, uncomplicated in the way it works and a pleasure to use every day. Added to this, it couldn't be easier to install: The identical top and bottom panels are provi-ded with two routed grooves that cut-to-length plastic profiles are pressed into. To hang the doors panels, the guiding lugs on the running components are inserted into the bottom profile.
